Two more people showed up, and one of them was Sam. Nichole’s uneasiness intensified, and she could feel her breathing get a bit heavy. She so wasn’t ready to face him yet, not again. Not after the way he reacted to her in Crossroads. She closed her eyes, waiting on him to lift that gun she knew he always carries, pointed it at her head, and squeezed the trigger. However when she felt nothing, she opened her eyes to see that he had ignored her for Adam. She couldn’t help but release the small bit of breath she had held while hyperventilating from seeing him approach. Then Adam had muttered the one thing that had started to make her uneasy, and she darted her eyes over to her younger half brother. She saw him trying to keep it together, and her hand shot out to grab his. ”It is okay. I see him too.” She simply told him, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. She hoped that it was enough to keep him grounded in reality, for she was then lead aside. “Nichole you’re getting that look again, right before your powers go out of control and we know what happens then. The whole casino goes poof and this time it might reappear in the middle of the ocean.”His hands on her shoulders barely registered in her scattered mind, not even his slightly stooped frame trying to gather her attention by going from one eye to the other was doing it’s job. It was clear that she was starting to get overwhelmed with the people around her, her father and her twin mostly. Finally what Bishop had told her began to sink in, of course she did the only thing that came to her mind. She hugged him again, this time a bit tighter than usual. She wasn’t ready to face her father and twin again, she just wasn’t. So instead of taking a drink from the bravery fountain, she took one from the cowardly fountain. ”I’m not ready to see them, Bishop. I’m not…” She whispered in his ear, and refused to let him go. She was so terrified of one of them actually raising their pistols to her head and pulling the trigger, that she actually seemed to be seeking confidence and perhaps safety from the one person here she knew would provide it for her. Nichole’s eyes kept darting to the two family members that have yet acknowledge her, and her grip tightened slightly on Bishop. Every second that passed by, made her more and more uneasy. Always expecting one of them to end her right then and there. ”Please be my hunter, and don’t let them hurt me…” She added, closing her eyes again. She hoped that he still wasn’t mad at her like he was the last time she saw him… [/div] TAGGED: Palooza Peeps WORD COUNT: 477 NOTES: So not ready to face Sam and John... At first she was surprised and almost tripped as Sam pulled her from the elevators, not expecting him to grasp her hand so firmly, as if he was tethering her to him with desperation as if he could not move unless sure she was with him. It threw her for a moment, making her want to retreat behind him, cower even, but she reminded herself that in what she was going into weakness was a danger and there was no way she would allow Sam to be in any worse danger than he was already. No, she would not be his burden in this; she would stand strong no matter how she felt inside. Even when his hand squeezed hers so tightly it dared to break the small bones in her fingers she refused to flinch, dark eyes scanning the room like a shark would be sniffing for blood in the water. There was no mirth to her features, no smirk, nothing but a cold hard business look, one that dared anyone to even try something with her or the man she stood with. As Sam and Adam spoke she crossed her arms, her eyes going to the blonde woman speaking to the person she thought was called Bishop, figuring that was the infamous Nichole, the ‘Sammy sister’. She began sizing the girl up, watching her movements, her body language, and those little ticks that screamed out to Ruby that she was frightened. The girl was so surface it wasn’t even funny, she hid nothing and Ruby felt she was a fool to be so open with herself, especially since the tart should know not everyone in this little gathering were especially endeared to her, no she should be putting on more of a front. Then again it could be that she wanted their pity, it was a basic female manipulation of course, the pity me because I’m the weak little girl play, Ruby had used it in times past herself and it works well especially when it came to the macho strong types. Only one other thing to watch out for when it came to the girl, one more side to her to undo when and if it came time for them to match wits. Then she heard a deep gruff voice, her dark eyes turning to take in the man, the legend himself, John Winchester. She slowly uncrossed her hands, letting her arms fall to her sides as her dark eyes softened a bit, taking the harsh edge off, still strong and dominate though. Here was one of her greatest fears, the hunter who was, for all intents and purposes, the boogie man to demons. She wondered if John knew who she was, knew what she and Sam had done together, and feared what would happen when and if he noticed her standing there. Content at the moment to stay the anonymous girl at Sam’s back she tore her gaze away from John, her eyes returning to the crowd surrounding them all, just watching over the small family reunion and guarding Sam like she felt was expected of her. Contact. Adam had grabbed his wrist. Sam's gaze dropped to the simple touch. It wasn't much, but it was enough for him to realize that they were together. They could stand together, and that Adam really was just as broken as he'd guessed. Sam decided, then and there, that he would shovel his brother out, even if he couldn't get back out of the abyss he'd created himself. He would save Adam if it was the last thing he did. After all, they were brothers. That thought had his glance jumping up to Adam's face and then over to the blonde girl.
For a brief second, there was contempt in his gaze before it disappeared and he smiled gratefully at her. He didn't care much for the girl herself, but she'd brought Adam to him. He could appreciate that. Respect her for it, even. That, of course, didn't mean that all of the problems between them had disappeared. He still held some contempt for the way things had gone down in Croate-ville and he still didn't like her. But...he could tolerate her. He would do it for Adam's sake, if nothing else. Obviously Adam was very attached, he could see by the way his little brother clung to some piece of Nichole's clothing. Like a security blanket. Sam would not ruin whatever security Adam had.
Then his world turned on its side. Adam uttered a singular word that changed everything. Dad. Sam went pale, his heartrate picking up and his breathing growing unsteady. No. No, he couldn't handle this. Another, so very familiar, voice filled his ears and he was transported back. Back to the day he'd yelled and raged at his father, held him in contempt. Very slowly, Sam turned to face the man who'd died before he could say sorry, the man who had died for Dean. Something in him broke and he stumbled back, away from all three members of his family, toward Ruby. A hand reached behind him, grasping almost desperately for hers.
He never found it. In that split second of panic, when he hit rock bottom, his mind shattered. All the pressure he'd been applying to the wall inside his head finally paid off. Agony flared in his head and Sam's hands immediately lifted to cradle his cranium. He groaned, and staggered away from Ruby blindly. He ran into a solid, but much smaller, body. What he didn't know was that he'd staggered into Nichole. The pain intensified, he could smell his flesh burning, could hear Lucifer's laughter.
"No!" He grabbed Nichole's shoulders and wheeled her around to face him, fingers digging in, his eyes wide and wild with terror and agony. "Please no!" Although he stared at the girl, he didn't see her. He was staring through her, at something he only remembered. His hands tightened and then his eyes rolled up into the back of his head and Sam crumpled.
The Winchester hit the floor, head cracking against a slot machine as he went down. His body was completely still, too still. For a brief moment, it appeared as though he was not breathing, as he'd gone so still. The slot machine, for its part, decided that he had hit the winning numbers and started vomiting nickels all over Sam's corpselike form.
((With this post, I ask that I be skipped from here on out. Sam will not be conscious.))

Abiel rubbed his chin and thought for a bit as things around him started to boil, Abiel watched as John noticed his boys for the first time he arrived, so Abiel addressed Ki when he spoke, “I got the cash for ya, and your friend, and Darrius.” Abiel shifted to face the other phoenix with one arm tucked under the other while his hand still stroking his chin.
“I got you two more Hunters that’s willing to help.” Abiel held up his hand with a devilish smile to Ki to stop him before he went off, “This is the price for being a smart ass, and everyone knows how much yo…” Abiel stopped in midsentence of stating a fact that Ki loved sending demons back to hell, but a uproar started, that caught Abiel’s attention. Abiel’s arms dropped to their side and his brow collided with one another as he watched Sam reach out and grab Nichole by her arms his own twin sister. He knew that things were ugly between the two, but didn’t know it got to hands on harm, which by the look of Death that Bishop was giving the taller Winchester that it was about to get ten times worse in less than that time, but before Abiel could stop his Charge from having death charges or at least battery charges drawn on him in front of all these witness he. Watched Sam grab his head and go for a fall and crack his head open on one of the slot machines and to add injury to Sam’s luck. He won, and now Abiel was instead of trying to prevent Bishop from living a life behind bars, he was now trying to save Sam’s life as the vultures of the Casino swarmed and stormed around Sam’s unconscious body to grab at the winnings.
As Abiel shouted and pushed the Casino players back calling out help to the others to give a hand, and thought he to himself. He could deal with a snarling Arachne, pissed off Changelings, Ghost, hellhounds that wanted a bite out of his ass, and even a hell load of White eyed demons but when it came to Humans. He really likes to leave it to the police if he could. Because of the simple fact that they could do just about anything without giving a damn about it at the time; when you faced monsters that the Hunters hunted, they did the horrible, sometimes gory things they did for a reason. For some of them it was in there very nature, but humans they didn’t need a reason to kill off countless of their own, or experiment on, and other warp things that pop in their heads. Sometimes, at dark times of thought Abiel has thought maybe his hunting the Wrong monsters.

"Sam." Nothing else in the world existed just in that moment, not even his father. Just him and his brother and the too-familiar pattern of one of them breaking down to nothing while the other tried to make things right again despite having zero tools to work with. It was a passion play that had been repeated literally hundreds of times in the months (decades) Sam had spent in the Cage. One of them would be the focus of the two raging archangels for a while, and when the lull came the other would try, desperately and fruitlessly, to make things right again. So familiar the scene was that Adam wasn't really seeing the casino around them, wasn't hearing the musical fall of coins on coins or the alarums of the slot machines. He heard the rush of fire and the ugly clank of chains, heard the bitter and inhuman laughter of the hate-filled brothers who kept them there, smelled the slight tang of Sam's blood but magnified a thousand times and mixed with the smells of wet iron and hot steel and the stink of burning hair. He bent down over his brother's body, like maybe his scrawny frame could be any protection against what was happening here. Pressed his hand over the gash on Sam's temple to stem the blood, dropped his head and began a litany of lying reassurance that was sunk all the way down into his bones by now. "Hshh, Hshh, that was the worst of it. It's done now, Sam. They'll leave us be for a while, go back to bickering again. Hshh, it's all right. It'll heal up quick enough." Adam neither knew nor cared that he was leaking thin streams of hot tears down his cheeks, he was locked in the Cage again and it was just him and Sam trying to get through another round of torments. "It's done for a while, just keep breathing and stay quiet." He was bent so far over his brother's body that his forehead touched Sam's, keeping to a hoarse whisper that only those quite near to them would be able to hear because in Adam's mind they were on the red and black-smeared grating of the Cage, huddling away from the attention of the demigods who hated them so. "Hshh, Sam, it's all right." Adam huddled over his brother's unconscious body, protective and comforting and utterly lost to the real world. "It aint for us, just for dat coullion who landed him in jail," Ki restated, giving John a look since Ki had such willpower to him that he didn't like having to take a backseat to anything including any sort of conversation. Not that he would actually start a ruckus with the old man about it, John had always been like something of an uncle to him and his sister, even if he acted like a total brat to the old man every now and then. It was just the way Malaki ticked, "Hold on now I'll only 'elp if I want to, not cause your on a power trip with a butt buddy," The man was painfully overbearing at times and Ki wasn't going to be tossing himself into danger on the whim of an immortal who didn't like him very much, "Ask nice or no dice,"Thumbs hooked on the belt loops of his leather pants he turned in time to catch Sam go down like a sack of bricks and winced a little. Yeah he was definitely going to be feeling that later, but that solved one question, if a tree falls in the casino, apparently he hits the jackpot. John on the other hand wasn't thinking much of anything, too busy beginning to panic and berating himself at the same time for having even been here to stress him while he dropped to his knees on Sam's other side, moving Adam's hand in order to press an old handkerchief to it, keeping pressure on the wound, "Sam! Sammy! Boy!" His voice came out a gruff, panicked growl, "The hell happened?" He looked around at everyone else there, ready to shoot everyone if he didn't find out what had just happened. John could feel the blood draining from his face as he looked from Adam to Sam, the younger one was looking rather green around the gills as well, "Don't you pass out on me too," He sounded even more panicky then before as he pressed more pressure to the wound and yelled for someone to find a doctor. What the hell had happened to them? He couldn't even begin to imagine what his sons had endured and John himself had spent years trapped in hell, the thought frightened him to absolutely no end. There was nothing but sickly panic spreading through him now as he tried to wake Sam. Ki on the other hand went directly to pushing onlookers away from the bunch with a growl and that darkly animal look on his face that scared away anyone that didn't know him. Grabbing a cup from some old woman who screamed and bolted when he flashed her his pair of fangs he brushed off a few of the other people and started scooping up the coins, "Indelicate I know, but at least we wont need dat bail money," Hopefully no one would shoot him in the process, yes he was being an asshole, but damnit it was true and this was definitely more of a family matter that everyone else was intruding on at the moment, all he could do was snatch up the cash and scare someone into calling for a medic, which is exactly what he did. Nichole was clinging to Bishop, begging him to not let her twin or her father hurt her like she feared they would. But before she felt comfortable facing them, she was grabbed and pulled away from her hunter from behind. She soon was wheeled around to face Sam after his fearful, no terrified shout of no. His fingers dug into her flesh of her shoulders, hurting her and she ended up wincing from his grip. She took one look at him knew that something was wrong, very wrong. She reached out to him, hoping he would be okay but somehow feeling that he wouldn’t like it deep down. Then he started to go down, and she did her best to catch him. However he still went down hard, and bashed his head on a one-armed bandit that ended up spilling the winnings all over his still form. She feel to her knees and attempted to move him out from the possible avalanche of coins before he becomes more hurt. Adam seemed to be almost loosing it as well, and when he started to huddle over Sam’s form, she reached out and tried to bring him back firmly in the now. ”Adam, it is okay. No one will hurt either of you. I promise.” She tried to comfort him, not wanting to let him go knowing that it may or may not work this time. However she was willing to try, and she wasn’t going to move until she knew he was back in this reality. Not only did one brother completely lose it, but the other seems to be on the verge of doing the same. Her eyes darted to her father, wondering what his reaction would be and then over to her hunter. She wasn’t the strong one, not for this, and she was starting to be totally lost as to what to do now. She was doing her best, and couldn’t help but wonder what Dean would have done. He was the one who took care of Sam, protect him when John wasn’t there, and she was just practically a stranger with Winchester DNA. Before she knew what was going on, the eldest Winchester rushed to Sam’s side. She watched as he moved Adam’s hand away from Sam’s face to put a handkerchief over the slash in her twin’s forehead. She stared at the small group she was feeling like a third wheel, and barely heard her father’s demand to know what happened. She swallowed, and it seemed she was the one who would say something first. ”I don’t know exactly what happened to Sam,…” She didn’t know what to call him. She was his daughter, but she didn’t want to come out and say it. Memories of what happened between her and Sam meeting for the first time coming to the forefront. ”He greeted Adam, seemed to loose his grip on reality, and then just fell.” She continued, leaving out the part of Sam grabbing her. Her hand drifted up to where he dug his fingers into her shoulders, and winced as her own fingers brushed against the wound. Her powers still were not to their fullest after the teleporting the club incident, and this just seemed too much. Everything else happened in daze, the only thing that mattered to her was her. She seemed out of place now, as she kneeled next to her brothers and father. But she wasn’t looking at them, much like Sam had looked at her before he passed out. She couldn’t handle this, she wasn’t strong like Dean. Her fists tightened in her lap, and she felt something bend and nearly snap inside of her. She didn’t know the whole place started to shake, much like the club last time. If she wasn’t brought back very quickly, there was not telling where the place would end up this time. She’d been looking across the room when Sam moved back towards her, missing him reaching out for her, but as soon as she realized he was she moved toward him, too late though as he pitched forward towards Nichole. No longer concerned about herself or her relative proximity to John, only about Sam’s condition as he fell over onto the ground she moved next to him, sliding down on her knees, gathering up his free hand to hers as she looked to him with a mixture of panic and remorse. “Sammy, please….no please don’t….” Begging him in a voice that might have broken his heart had he heard her, a tone the former demon would never had used in public and only behind closed doors with her sweet Sam once before. She wasn’t used to showing such weakness and hated herself immediately for allowing it, sure that one day it would come back to bite her in the ass. Then she heard John ask the question, one she knew the answer to, one she loathed to answer but still did, quietly, almost a whisper. “This is my fault.” Offering no other explanation than that to John she looked around to those gathered there, her eyes resting on Nichole a moment, still that bitter hatred of what she was…well what Sam described her to be, she narrowed her eyes at the girl. “Get away from him.” Still Sam’s protector she was ready to take on the “fake” sister if need be, afraid that in Sam’s prone state the girl might try something stupid, harm Sam more, and that wouldn’t be tolerated. Her eyes moving back to John, not sure if she had an ally with him or not, knowing though that she’d not be able to move Sam without his help. “Can you please help me get Sam back to our room?” LOCATION: NYNY Casino, Vegas MUSIC: Iron by Within Temptation OUTFIT: Back to the leather coat NOTES: Perhaps she said to much to John?

The next chain of events kind of happened to Bishop all at once and at the same time very slow moment. From a simple greeting to Nichole’s half-brother to her twin barreling toward her and grabbing her by the arms. Bishop already didn’t like the dude because of the way he treated Nichole. He didn’t give a damn he was a Winchester. If anyone wanted to harm Nichole physically or mentally; they had to come through Bishop first. Like Nichole always said he was her Hunter, simple as that. So when Sam roughed Nichole up all Bishop wanted to do was rip the giant’s arms’ off and beat the living shit out of him, but as soon as Sam grabbed her, it was over and he was on the floor without him touching him, with coins splashing over Sam’s unconscious body like waves on the floor, but Bishop had bigger problems. He watched Nichole’s reaction to it all as her Father rushed up to Sam’s side and Sam’s girl Ruby if Bishop recalled correctly came up short as well and barked at Nichole to back up, it seemed everyone was out for a piece of some Winchester action tonight, but Bishop was going to have to deal with Ruby another time.
Bishop took one look at Nichole right before the Casino started to rock and roll on its foundations, and Bishop’s eyes grew wide as he knew what the end result when this little ride settled down and it won’t be pretty. No matter how many favors, calls, or glamour Bishop put on this one. He won’t be able to hide this one, not like his club which Nichole did teleport and relocate in another area in L.A..
“ Nononononono No!” Nichole sweetly you can’t do this not now. I needed you to be strong okay, For me can you do that. I’m right here with you. I’m right here with you.” Bishop tried to arouse Nichole to his presents near her as he got to her level and made eye contact with his Half Angel. He gripped her lightly by her forearm and not the same spot Sam grappled her earlier which Bishop guess where already bruised or healing already. He lifted Nichole up and his hand’s moved to cup Nichole’s face on both sides blocking out her profiterole vision. “Focus on me, Nichole Focus on me and your breath just take it easy breath in and out.”

Darrius listened into the conversation that Abiel is having with Malaki. His ears also caught a few words from the others that talked among themselves. The phoenix then turned his hearing to Abiel, once he heard the older phoenix say his name. Darrius nodded, "Thanks, that will definitely help. Thank you." he said before he heard Sam starting to shout. (What now?) he wondered and felt fear build in him.
His blue eyes saw Sam holding onto the angel like woman before falling down in unconsciousness. (Shi!t) he thought before dashing over and shoving many mortals away from the group. (Stupid, stupid mortals.) he thought as he muttered under his breath. When he got near Sam, he started to slap all the mortal's hands from reaching over to the coins and near Sam. "GET away." he growled loudly a threat to the mortals who stopped in their tracks. "Now, stop this fuss." he eyed mortals. "We don't need your greed and hunger for money...right now. We have an unconscious man here, who needs some space. Now, please leave us alone and go back to your gambling or whatever you were doing." Darrius said as he made sure all the mortals are away from the unconscious Sam. Darrius also allowed Malaki take the coins, but warded away the citizens. The immortal stood there with hands in his pockets as he nicely shoved the people who are getting too close.
His blue eyes wondered to the milling mortals and back to the hunters and supernaturals around Sam. Darrius is stepping in to ward off the the greedy people, as if he was a cop or a group's leader. People tend to obey his polite commands. They also seem to know that he is worth listening to and following. The young phoenix has gotten a higher position in society that he lives in his everyday life.
