"Malaki? That snake. Calls me out for..." He glanced at her and then away. "Nevermind. The Amhersts and the Kochs go way back. I'm glad to hear that there's now a traveling sanctuary. I've heard of small pockets, generally some retired hunter's house, where people can go. Stop by for a day or two. But this is a much bigger operation." Flynn looked down. "My sister. She's been sneaking off to Vegas every once in a while recently and I followed her."

Norah pursed her lips. "I haven't met her. But I can put out a watch, if you like." Up two floors in the elevator and then she led him down a short hallway and into her suite, which these days looked more and more like a staging area for a big group of hunters and less like a posh hotel suite. "But yeah, we do what we can. I've got angels wishing people on me right now, which is a bit more hassle than I'd bargained for, but have you ever tried telling an angel to shut up and leave you alone? It's like yelling at a brick wall."

"As much as I'd appreciate that, she would notice. She's a little too sharp for her own good about that sort of thing. I have no doubt she knew I was trying to tail her and I was going for subtlety." He grinned at the thought, as though proud of his sister, even if her actions had him worried. Flynn glanced around the room, feeling quite at home. "I have yet to run into an angel myself. They aren't much interested in the Koch family. Thank God. I've heard the stories about what happened to the Winchesters." His expression was grim again, a study in seriousness. "However, I do want to set up connections with you, if you don't mind. Victory is far better at this than I am. But I'll have to do for now."

Norah headed directly over to the wet bar and retrieved a bottle of water for herself and a beer for Flynn, then sat down on the arm of one of the sofas, crossing very long and very bare legs as she held the bottle out to the hunter. "Oh, I don't know. I have a feeling you can be good at it when you set your mind to it. Just a matter of it being worth the effort." She smiled at him, the flirtation was effortless and unconscious, this was simply how Norah dealt with men she didn't know very well. You had to get in past her guard before she stopped feeling that she needed to keep up the armor of the cheerful, nonthreatening vamp. "But sure, if you only want me for my contacts, I can live with that. Unflattering but honest. We're only in Vegas for another few days, after that we're doing a slow tour across the southern U.S., heading toward a gig at Disney World that will take us from the second week of December through the new year."

He didn't take a seat, despite feeling comfortable, he still had a little blood on him and he would prefer not to get that on her furniture. "Sweetheart, I told you I was bad at this. I don't want you just for your contacts. We've got some decent contacts of our own, and it appears, we share some contacts between us. I just...Well, I suppose my siblings need socialization. God knows they think I do. It would be good to know others in the loop. Possibly we can help each other." Flynn was fumbling and he knew it. "Well hell, I really am a bumbling mess aren't I? Stick me in a room with a lovely lady and my words get all confused."

Norah handed Flynn the beer and smiled at him. "Sweetheart, are you asking if we want to be friends?" The teasing in her tone was mild and actually affectionate.
