Miranda Switz smiled politely as she got out of her small, silver Honda. Her grayish-blue eyes blinked as he walked up to the church and opening one of the double doors. She stepped in in to softly sigh. Mire walked in and softly sat near the front of the church that sits near the edge of New York.
The citizen looked around before bowing her head slowly. "Lord, please hear my prayer. Its for my parents and me...of course." she said with a soft smile. "Lord my God, please make sure my parents are safe in Heaven. Please, please tell them that I always think of them, even though I never met them...in person." she said as a few tears fell down her cheeks. She started to sob, "I so want to meet them, and of course you know that they died in a car accident when I was only 3 years old..." she said as she tried to calm down and wiped off tears. "Lord, I also pray for a safe life. That is all that I should pray for today." she said softly and politely before looking up and sighing as she got ready to head out of the church. All she knows that she will continue with her life, but something evil is lying in waiting for her to come to it.

Churches...weren't usually his thing. At least, this is what Gabriel thought. He was currently going through a time of, hopefully, temporary memory loss. The archangel could only remember waking, stumbling to a bar, and drinking. There had been lots of drinking. Slowly, it'd come to him who he was. He was Gabriel. He had fuzzy memories of a home he could not quite grasp, and of people he could hardly see let alone recognize. The thoughts of home made him shudder, apparently they hadn't been the best.
Gabriel observed the inside of the church in silence. This place gave him the creeps. Churches were supposed to be safe, but he felt no such safety. Instead, Gabriel felt suffocated. He felt overwhelmed. He wanted nothing more than to run and escape. It was strange, and a feeling he did not understand. It must've had to do with the memories that escaped him. Curse amnesia. It was amnesia, right? For all he knew, right now, he could just be some crazy, delusional man who, apparently, loved alcohol. His lips twitched into an amused grin. No...he didn't feel crazy. He just had to figure out what was going on here.
Prayer hit his ears and made his stomach twist sickeningly. Heaven...Gabriel almost scoffed. Who would ever pray to Heaven? It was a nice place for humans, maybe, but repulsive for...for...His brows furrowed together. Where had that come from? It was anger, but not only anger. Deep down he felt something ache. Guilt? He found he wasn't so good at recognizing his own emotions.
"An interesting scene," He said and stopped a few feet from Miranda. He leaned against a pew and crossed his arms casually. She wasn't that bad looking of a woman...but he felt he'd seen better. That was another thing...he liked women. "Why pray to something that will simply ignore it? You're one of many, you know, and Heaven doesn't really care to listen. They've their own problems Upstairs."
His head cocked to the side. He wasn't sure how he could assume all this, but it felt right. It felt like something he'd thought.

Miranda paused as she heard a someone nearby. Her head turned to Gabriel as she almost exited the pews. Pausing, she sighed. "Some people pray to get hope, which I am have none in my life so far." she said politely. She held on her purse, read to leave. She looked at her wrist watch. "Dang!t, I am going to be late." she muttered under her breath. She turned to Gabriel "Its a bit funny that everything you do in the world. As in lessons, jobs and other activities. They all depend on time and time in this world... is quite precious." she said as she got out of the pew, that she was sitting in.
"Another reason I pray to Heaven because that is where my family is in, at the moment. I am an orphan, you see." she stated softly to Gabriel with a heavy sigh. She tends to get tired of telling everyone that she is an orphan. She then shook her head slightly as she used her blond hair fall as curtain around her face, as she started to quietly cry. "I have been a stupid orphan ever since I was three years old." she whispered before starting to walk toward the doors.
She doesn't know of the what is waiting, only a few steps outside of the church's lawn. A black-eyed demon is lounging on her car's hood.

She'd decided to rent out a cute, little Fiat 500 that was identical to the one she'd left back in New York. After a few hours of driving, she found exactly what she'd been seeking, a place for prayer. Pulling into a spot near the door, she cut the engine. Sitting for a moment to reapply her chapstick, and smooth the creases from her yellow, button dress. Satisfied, she abandoned the vehicle and pushed her way past two chapel doors, made of solid oak. Dispite their weight, they were soundless as they closed behind her. Before she had the chance to glance around the sanctuary, she collided with a woman who was rushing towards the door Letty had just entered. Looking up into the other blonde's tear stained face, the doctor spoke. "Oh, um, excuse me." [style=padding: 0px 10px; font-size: smaller;] Location: Random Church. Emotions: Startled. "Hope?" He stopped himself from snorting. " God ain't comin', sweetie. God skipped town a long, long time ago. You're relying on others to give you hope when the only person you can rely on is yourself."
Gabriel felt he had learned this the hard way. He sauntered around the pew he'd been standing before and pushed his hands in his pockets. His brows rose and lips curled into an amused sort of smirk. "Oh? I'm sorry to burst your bubble, sweetheart, but time is an illusion. It's made by man not God. So, how can it be precious when it's simply something you've tricked yourself into believing? In all honestly..." his hands spread out, "we've all the time in the world! Because time doesn't exist!" His hands lowered back into his pockets and his weight leaned to the left. Yep, this one wasn't his type at all. She whined.
"Oh boo hoo! Mommy and daddy died and life cannot possibly be normal." Gabriel honestly didn't care. He didn't like sob stories, nor did they invoke pity in him. "And you know what? Somewhere, right now, someone else's mommy and daddy are dying. You're not the only oh-so-pitiful creature walking this Earth, toots. Death is a natural part of life, and everyone dies."
Outside went the crying woman. Well, Gabriel couldn't say he was the best comfort. He shrugged his shoulders and casually followed with a sigh. He didn't want to be in this church anymore, anyways.

Miranda was starting to walk out when a she bumped into a woman in a yellow dress. She stopped to blubber, "I am so, so sorry." she said politely before ducking her head even farther down war. She then politely sidestepped before keeping on heading toward her car.
She heard Gabriel talk to her and just shrugged to all he said to her. She turned to Gabriel again, "You can think that, but this is what I have done all my life. Also, time is precise...to me. Since, I have work for about... 9 hours of the day." she told the arch angel. "I will let you think that time is plenty, but its not to me." she shrugged again, politely, before heading to the church's double doors.
She shoved the double doors open to take a big breath. Her grayish-blue eyes blinked. "How come did I walk into the church to then meet a strange, strange person?" she asked loudly to then realize who was lounging on her car's hood. She stared at the sunny and cloudy sky for a moment more. She sighed as she knew that she has errands to do and started to head to her car. She then saw a man lounging on her car's hood.
"Sir, sir that is my car. Can....?" she then gasped as the man quickly sped at her. She started to shriek loudly "Help!" once to then be gagged by an unseen force. She went into a sobbing fit of fear as she was pulled off the ground. Fear practically bellowed from as she was held, coughing and gagging, about 5 feet in the air. A demon with red eyes has his hands held high as in a straggling position that faced Mire. "Look what Macon got, a pretty swan. Ya can make a fabulous vessel for me, Macon." the demon smiled as Miranda muttered, gagged and sobbed.

Shrugging the doctor turned and headed towards the last pew on the left, her usual choice, passing a short-ish man with a smug look on his face. As she kneeled down, she made a silent gesture of respect, tracing her fingers in a cross from her forehead, to her chest, and touching both shoulders. "Lord Jesus, may everything I do begin with You, continue with Your help, and be done under Your guidance. May my sharing in the Mass free me from my sins, and make me worthy of Your healing. May I grow in Your Love and Your service, and become a pleasing offering to You; and with You to Your Father. May the mystery I celebrate help me to reach eternal life with you." She spoke the words of a basic guidance prayer, pausing before tacking on a request that God watch over Sam Winchester, Norah, and the whole lot, during this difficult time. But, a blood curtling scream interrupted her worship. In seconds she was on her feet, and out the doors, the bright sun blinding her momentarily. Once she had regained focus, she saw him. A large, red eyed demon. If he wasn't frightening enough standing alone, seeing the small woman she'd ran into earlier, dangling like a rag doll from his hands sure did the trick. Shit, shit, shit!. She swore to herself, thanking the Lord that she had parked just outside the doors, and had left her window unrolled, she rushed to her vehicle and withdrew a small pistol, loaded with rock salt. "Hey!" She hollered, making eye contact with the unholy being. "Put her down. Now." Cocking the gun she held in her hands for emphasis, she stood firm for just a few moments, hoping he would just drop her and scamper off. While she knew she could completely rely on her abilities as a marksman, hunting was not her gig, and if the demon came back for another round, she'd be the one needing a doctor. "Well, would you look at those apples," Gabriel mused as he exited the church and observed the scene before him. That's all he did, too, observe. Gabriel made no notion that he desired to help. In fact, he didn't. He eyed the demon curiously and felt a sudden moment of recognition hit him like a wall of bricks. Something inside him said what he was looking at wasn't flattering to him, but it also said it was misplaced. This wasn't the type that usually did something like this. This one...this one...hung back, usually, and took humans by manipulation and...a kiss? Gabriel shook his head. Whatever this thing was it had good taste on how to capture its victims. A little lovin' usually got to just about anyone.
Out of the church came the other blonde -- who was considerably prettier -- and she ran to the other's rescue. Good for her. Gabriel leaned against the church and crossed his arms. Yes, he felt like he knew what the woman was doing, too. Fuzzy memories of others of her kind passed his mind and the title 'mutton heads' came to mind. He'd, apparently, met people similar in his past. She could handle herself, though he wasn't so sure about the "poor" damsel-in-distress who couldn't do anything but scream for help and cry. She was like that annoying Princess Peach in Mario. I'm sorry, Mario, but our princess is in another castle... He thought and nearly laughed. You know what would go good with this little tv show? Chocolate...
Reaching into his pocket, Gabriel pulled out a hershey bar and casually unwrapped it. The chocolate tasted sweet and made his taste buds spark to life. Candy had to be one of the best creations that Man had ever made. It was like sex, but in a tiny bar.
"I don't think your buddy there is phased," he commented as the demon failed to twitch. "You're going to need something much more convincing." Gabriel snorted in amusement before noticing the creature was looking at him. Quite truthfully, he didn't feel the least bit fearful of it. Something told him he was stronger. Gabriel gave the red-eyed being a girly wave, "why hello there, handsome. What brings your fine-looking ass near such a holy building? You're not going to charm these ladies, they're the religious sort."
And nothing was taken seriously that day.
TAG: Miranda, Letty MUSIC: Crusaders of Light -- Globus NOTES: And still no fucks were given this day. Also, my question is HOW is there a red-eyed demon near a church? Demons cannot walk on holy ground. I smell flaws in this plot.

Macon smiled as he held Mire in the air before hearing feet running out of the church. "Ooh, your lucky...princess. Ya have a savior." the red-eyed demon grinned before turning toward another mortal coming to save Mire. "Wow, you're a brave one." he mocked softly as he heard the threat.
"Okay, I will let her go." Macon said as he dropped Mire into the ground roughly. Miranda coughed as she fell onto the hard, rocky-hard ground. Her air was forced out of her lungs at the compact of the ground. After a second, Miranda's eyes looked up blurry as she saw Macon facing Dr. Violet Halvoni. Miranda reached out and lightly snagged the demon's ankle in her right hand.
Macon smiled as he eyed the gun that the doctor held facing at him. He knows that the gun bares salt in it, and he was bunching himself up to spring and to snatch the gun from the woman's hands. As eh moved, he tripped on Mire's hands and planted his face in the rocky ground.
Miranda leaped to her feet to then use her body to keep the snarling Macon into the ground. "Shoot him. He is no good in this world." she muttered to the doctor. She then eyed Gabriel. "Unless you have another way to help us out." she said to the arch angel as she held down the strong, fighting demon. "I will not hold him down much longer, that is why we need to end him now. Or never at all." she growled as she fought to keep Macon into the dusty ground.

Someday we'll be remembered. Refusing to respond to the demon's mocking tone, Letty took a few steps forward, attempting to show some semblance of confidence. She was a doctor for Christ's sake, not a hunter, and this was exactly why. Feeling as though this woman's life was in her hands, while also trying to keep herself alive, was something the doctor did not care for in the least. Suddenly, the tiny woman grabbed hold of the demon's ankle and sent him falling to the pavement. Letty's eyes continued to widen as the woman proceeded to mount the unholy being and managed to hold him down. She'd seen demon's held down before, her brother Jeremy had wrassled one to the ground on occassion. But then, he was an experienced hunter, with skills passed down through generations. Not to mention, a grown man. Letty's eyes narrowed as she watched the demon struggle beneath her seemingly powerless form, who the hell was this woman? More importantly, what was she? Finally taking the time to survey her surroundings, she noticed the short man she had passed earlier, observing the whole series of events as if they were being featured on some kind of twisted reality program. And was that... chocolate in his hand? "What the hell is going on here?" She demanded, after stomping over to the demon's side and firing three shots into his forehead. [style=width:402; background-color:695f6e; height:17; font-family:arial narrow; font-size:10; font-style:underlined; text-transform:uppercase; text-align:center; text:1px 1px 1px #000000; color:000000;] Location: Random Church parking lot. Emotions: Astonished. Outfit: Bright, yellow, button up dress, assorted rings, silver belt. Music: N/a. Notes: I noticed the inconsistencies, too. I just assumed that Miranda had some sort of background with the demon, perhaps she pissed him off in some way? As far as the holy ground, whether or not the parking lot is on holy ground is really up to the writer's transgression. [/div]

Well, apparently he had run into some kind of freak. Here a normal human woman was holding down a supernatural creature that could snap her in half like a twig with as little effort as one used to lift a spoon. It was impossible, yet right before his eyes he saw it. Gabriel didn't need his memories to conclude this was one of the most illogical things he'd never laid eyes on. The other woman was just as astonished. They hadn't needed to help at all. Superwoman here had it all under control. Ramiel would be flipping out over this.
Ramiel? He furrowed his brow, who's that?
The name was quite...angelic...like his own, but it didn't bring any image to mind. It had to be someone he knew, or had known. Gabriel took another bite of his chocolate and chewed it thoughtfully. Nope. Nothing. He was still filled with amnesia.
He observed as the woman loaded the creature with rocksalt and almost laughed. Something told him that stuff didn't kill them. It maybe stung a bit, though. "You two don't know much about this sorta stuff, do you?" He quipped, though, admittedly, neither did he right now. He just had instincts that itched from somewhere deep down, and he was following them. It was the best he could manage in this state. "I think you gave it a headache for the rest of the day. Congrats!"
Super-freak-woman asked if he had any other way to help. Gabriel shrugged. Nope. He had no way to "help" them. He didn't even want to help her. If it had been just him...well...the girl probably would've been taken away or dead. Gabriel approached the demon lying on the ground and nudged him. The demon stirred.
"So, ladies, I suggest you two get your tails outta here while Mr. Big and Scary here is still in La La Land. What do you say? I don't think you'd survive round 2. Nice shooting, by the way." He grinned at Violet. "You remind me of some people." If only he knew who, exactly.
