A black-eyed demon looked around as he exited the bar with four demons behind him. He had befriended 4 people to only get them drunk enough so that four demons can use those, stupid mortals as vessels. Marcus smiled as he motioned the demons, who are also drunk since they are taking over drunk mortals, to follow behind him.
Marcus shrugged and fixed his black, button-front shirt and dark, blue jeans as he walked in navy blue and white tennis shoes. His blondish hair is combed back so that he looks a wealthy gentleman, which he is partly wealthy. His black eyes scanned the area as he kept up a calm, walking pace.
He stared at his wrist watch for the time. He has planned it, since he knows that a young woman will ultimately walk down this alleyway for a short cut to her apartment. He has been in the area for a long, long time. Watching for those stupid Winchesters to only see a blond woman walking by him multiple times after her work at a diner. He smiled, his plan is all set as the demons drunkenly spread out on the street to form a certain wall. (My plan is finally set.) he smiled and chuckled evilly into the cool, night air.

A young woman with fair, dirty-blond hair (that stops at her shoulders) has her head down as she muttered and prayed as she walked quickly toward her apartment. Her grayish-blue eyes are cast down at the sidewalk, not see where she is heading into. Her lime green, spring dress is swaying down at her knees as she hustled on the usual route that she is always walking on.
Her job at Kali's Diner is ultimately done for the day. In Brooklyn's alleyways, she has always went on to easily head into her neighborhood. She has never know that Marcus Watson Griff was watching her walk on the route that he spied on. The demon has easily planned to form a trap for the orphan mortal.
The blond woman stopped to stare at the starry sky before sighing softly as she took more steps to the setup trap. This trap will ultimately kill her, once she steps into the barrier of demons that Marcus's cunning mind has setup for the blond, orphan mortal.

Just another small-time hustler, just another skinny kid with a harsh face and a soft mouth taking a break from working his angle, whatever that angle would turn out to be.
He watched the blonde woman approach, eyes hooded and smoke curling up against his cheek. There was mild curiosity on his face, nothing more, and he gave her a lazy smile when she got wihin arm's reach. "Don't wanna go that way, Miss." He nodded politely to Miranda. "There's some guys down there who're bad news. Should go around the long way tonight." His tone was friendly and dispassionate as he took a drag of his smoke and then glanced down the alley in the direction he'd warned her about, as though checking on possible trouble.

Marcus stared ahead as his buddies kept trampling closer to Miranda and Jophiel. His black eyes blinked a small frown formed a slight frown. (Where is that darn woman?) he thought with slight interest. (She should be here in a minute or so. Why don't I see her?) he thought before turning to his allies.
"I will be going out in front of you. Just keep walking, I will come back." he told the four other demons, who mumbled a jumble of words as they all nodded. Marcus smiled at himself before speeding away. His speed he has a demon helped a ton during his evil plans. He ran forward before pausing near Jophiel as he felt the guardian's presence.
"Sh!t, why did that skinny angel come to the woman? Why now? Why does he always messed with my plans!?" he shouted the last sentence, before growling at himself. He started to walk closer to only have his frame seen by Jophiel, as his party of others quickly caught up to him. All of the drunk demons squinted ahead. Marcus held up his hand to tell them to pay attention. "We shall walk forward into the scared mortal and have some fun." he said without telling them of the angel. If he said that there is an angel there, all the drunk demons will hesitate or just run away. Now, they started to laugh evilly in great eagerness as they trampled forward with new determination. They quickly went into the sight of Jophiel and Miranda. Their black eyes shined with eagerness as they held their wall of force as they quickly approached the guardian angel and his charge.
Marcus followed and stopped to step into a nearby shadow as he watched the coming event that he has planned for Miranda. He waited for the event he planned so much...to happen.

Miranda kept walking, but stopped when a man talked to her. "Don't go that way? I have been traveling this way everyday, young man. Why is it different today then yesterday?" she asked politely as she blinked up at Jophiel. "Alright... I will go the long way around, if you prefer me to." she said politely before pausing to stare forward to see a bunch of men coming toward them.
"It looks to me that they are coming to us, instead of us coming to them." she mumbled as she stared at the wall of four demons staggering toward them. "What do you think we should do?" she asked Jophiel with fear clouding over her confidence. She stared at the skinny man and back to the approaching wall of demons as she clutched at her purse.
She blinked again as she thought, (Is this our doom? To die by the hands of a wall of drunks.) she started to fret for her life. She looked at Jophiel again as she waited for his idea or opinion to act or to flee.

Nothing ever went easy. It was enough to make a hardworking cherub feel actually depressed. Jophiel took a hard drag off his cigarette and flicked it away to hiss itself out in a puddle. "I think," he said, sounding tired, "that you should stand behind me, not scream, and not panic and run away and straight into the arms of their backup or something." Why did he always get the addle-brained young women to look after? Some of them were just determined to be victims. Possible Jophiel wasn't being entirely fair, but he'd just caught the whiff of Hell coming off the four moving toward them and that meant that any hope he had of playing this cool was blown before he even got started.
"Just hang tight and trust me to handle this, okay?" Jophiel wrapped a thread of his power around Miranda, imprinting her as his own and assuring that wherever she went, whatever happened to her, whatever her physical or mental state he would know it until he released his guardianship of her. A glance over his shoulder at her and then Jophiel's sword appeared in his hand, already flickering with holy flame as he stepped forward to engage the first of the demons.

Marcus smiled as Jophiel walked forward to confront the demon party he setup for Miranda. (Okay, now to sneak around and snatch that girl.) he thought. He smiled at himself as he easily slipped deeper into the shadows before sliding to walk being a building or apartment to then walk into another alleyway. He softly and quietly walked around Jophiel and Miranda to then walk through the alleyway. He smiled again as he softly and quietly crept closer and closer to the mortal.
He stopped for a few seconds here and there to make sure Jophiel did not hear him. The black-eyed demon sidestepped slowly to walk a long a shadowy wall and easily made it to Miranda who is too busy keeping an eye on Jophiel and the demon party.
With a slow hand, Marcus took the blond hair of the woman. She gasped as she was yanked back into the shadows as Marcus covered her mouth with a hand. The cunning demon fitted a sharp-edged, large dagger to the mortal's neck. "One shout, I will slit ya throat." Marcus's cool voice whispered in Mire's ear. Tears started to rain down Miranda's pink cheeks as Marcus eased himself and her into a dark alleyway.

Miranda nodded to Jophiel. "Okay." she said politely as she stopped from getting scared. Her bluish-gray eyes blinked silently as she watched Jophiel head out to fight the drunk demons with a burning sword. (Wait, a burning sword? Alright, I am dreaming.) she thought as she took in great breaths.
After a while, suddenly a hand snatched and yanked her blond hair. (OKAY! I am not dreaming! I am not dreaming!) she thought as she felt a hand over he mouth and slick, cool, evil voice whispering a warning in her ear. She gasped very softly as she blinked at the guardian again. (Sir.... SIR?! HELP!) her mind screamed, wishing to get the angel's attention.
She then knew that she is out of luck and tried to struggle away from the grasp as the stranger yanked Miranda into a very dark alleyway. She started to whimper and cry as she was easily taken away from the man who is meant to be there to save her from harm. She muttered something loudly and only felt the dagger dig into her skin a little. It was big enough to let a trickle of blood to dribble down her peachy, young throat.

He knew it when the first spike of alarm made her heart beat harder. His hair stirred when the demon whispered into the human woman's ear. He had only just this moment finished laying his full guardianship upon her, and when those hard hands closed around the mortal girl's body the angel knew it almost before she did.
He lost less than six-tenths of a second kicking the frontman of the quartet of staggering demons back away from himself and then twisted and darted down the alley after Miranda. A few long steps was all it took and Jophiel planted a foot and thrust forward with his sword, skimming it an eighth of an inch past Miranda's ear and severing a thick lock of her hair so that he could plunge his blade, which burned fiercely with the literal fires of God and the righteous wrath of a Prince of Heaven and General of the Host's Armies, directly into the center of Marcus's face and through the skull to emerge out the other side.

Marcus knew something will happen, that is why he let go of Miranda as he heard Jophiel coming. He commanded his vessel to cough him out. A black cloud flew out of the coughing, unconscious mortal who quickly died when the blade met the man's face. (Well, I escaped in time.) he thought as he so wanted to pat his shoulder for that. The black cloud shot into the sky, so that it will be out of reach.
It then searched for the perfect vessel to control. (Maybe that pretty woman will do.) he thought of Jophiel's charge. It will definitely make that guardian act. He thought of it and started to go near to the ground before following Miranda with patience for the right moment. Marcus's plan formed as Miranda stopped to catch her breath. Marcus's cloud scooted a long the ground, much similar to a snake, before stopping its decent. Marcus needed the right vessel and decided on a nearby, tall, muscular man that was walking a block away. It eased itself into the mortal with no effort.
Marcus rolled his new, stronger vessel's shoulders before sprinting toward the drunk group of demons. He urged them to act to surround the alleyway that Jophiel and Miranda are at. Marcus, once again, slid into to the shadows as he thought of another plan to part the guardian's charge from the angel.

Miranda gasped as the knife or sword zipped past her head without hitting her. He felt the hands and dagger leave her throat and took 5 fast steps forward. She stare behind her at the body and decided to check it. She saw blue eyes instead of black. "He esc...escaped." he murmured to herself, but loud enough that Jophiel can hear. "This man had black...eyes and now they are blu...blue eyes." she sighed before staring around a bit. "I had no clue, for some reason I was behind you. Not making a peeping noise, but I got kidnapped." her face frowned because she was following Jophiel's orders, that he gave her precisely.
Her eyes blinked at the guardian angel nodded her thanks politely before stammering again. "Now...now we are sur..surrounded." she blubbered as she stare at the two demons coming from behind and two in from. "And...and their drunk." she finally realized at their strange walk and goofy, evil-looking smiles that they have on their faces. "We... we are definitely outnumbered." she muttered again as she held onto conscious, since she feels that she is about to faint on the spot.

Because that's what they did. Jophiel was more grateful than he could even express that this was a temporary assignment, and the moment it was over he was hunting Marcus down again and this time making sure that there was no running away, and no getting sent back up to Earth. There were ways to utterly destroy a demon, just as there were ways to truly kill an angel, and Marcus was just a punk-ass black-eye, Jophiel had no doubts of his ability to carry it out.
But first thing's first. "No," Jophiel said calmly as the demons closed in on them. "We're really not. Hang tight, let me take care of this." He stepped forward and swung the sword at the frontman of the quartet bearing down on them, taking the demon's head clean off its shoulders and immediately moved forward to the next to plunge the fire-limned blade deep into its gut.

This applies also to Marcus working indirectly through minions in a thread or plot where Jophiel is involved. Miranda was slightly surprised by the determination in the man's voice. The mortal nodded politely as she watched the man go into battle. Her bluish-gray eyes blinked in interest as the guardian do precise movements to end the drunk men. Her cheeks started to blush a little as she tried to hold to, in hoping to not be seen. She started to feel crept, as if someone is watching her.
In the distance, about 10 blocks away, Marcus and red-eyed demon are conversing about a job. Marcus is trying to get the other demon to take the woman away from the angel. Anyway, Marcus agreed that the other demon can have 3000 dollars if the job is done. The red-eyed demon, known as Axon, smiled as Marcus walked off before teleporting closer to the woman and her guardian. Axon stared at the mortal who is starting to show signs of anxiousness as Axon's red-eyed gaze is on her back.
(Marcus is out of the thread. I will like to plan with Marcus and how Jophiel finds him and ends him once again. After that will happen, Marcus will 'never' come back)

He held his hand out to the girl and said, "There's still danger here." He could feel it pressing around her, the possibilities of fate still active. The angel held a hand out to Miranda. "Come with me. I'll get you home." And then the moment he had her past this event nexus he was going hunting. Jophiel was done and more than done with Marcus and his games. He didn't know how the black-eye had managed to get sent back topside so quickly, but this was three times Marcus had turned up in the proximity of one of Jophiel's charges and that was twice too many.

Miranda stood there and nodded. "I have a car nearby." she said to Jophiel as she started to toward south that is where her car is hidden. Her gray-blue eyes blinked as she scanned the dark areas that she walked by. Every time she stopped, she heard a a noise which made her shiver in the coldness of fright. She stopped at a huge cross road area and stopped as she readied for the light for her to cross the huge, loud street.
She turned around to smile at Jophiel politely. She then looked around as she watched the cars zoom by her as she tightened her light, gray sweater around her chest and she waited.
Meanwhile, a the red-eyed demon followed the presence of the mortal that he was paid to kill or to take away. He easily hid himself into a street that will soon open to the main street that the mortal is waiting to cross at. A wonderful, evil smile played at his lips as thought of the 3000 dollars in his grasp that Marcus will agreed to give him for his service. He then felt a huge truck driving a long the street. Axon then slipped out of his body to then take over the truck's driver. With his hands on the steering wheel, he smiled again and whistled along to the tune that the radio is playing. All his mind is thinking, other then the song, is eager thought of death. The truck drew closer and closer to the woman who finally got the signal to cross the street. Axon clutched at the steering wheel as he chuckled at the coming prize. He also felt lucky that no other car is in front of him, which made it much...much easier. His red-eyes gleamed as Miranda walked further into the street as he gunned his engine a little faster as his truck sped at its victim.
