too many dreamers,
LOOKING FOR THE ONES THAT LAST |
[/div] Nichole sat at a table, watching her hunter, her father, and a lady bustle around her. Her brothers, Sam and Adam, had been put in a room and Norah was to watch over them. She had no idea what was going on, with those three around her as they rushed around grabbing supplies and talking about something she barely understood. She felt out of the loop, and she had a deep feeling that the lady with them didn’t really like her. Her father hasn’t said one word to her, and her hunter seemed a bit busy getting stuff together for the upcoming job. She was feeling out of place again, and she couldn’t risk another near episode that happened just a few hours ago.
She got up from her seat and began to pace the room, trying to keep to herself. She felt that she should stay out of their way, and her hands drifted up to the wounds that Sam had left on her shoulders again. She winced minutely as she still hasn’t healed completely from them yet. But she couldn’t argue with the fact they were better than what was left when Sam had collapsed after nearly crushing her shoulders in his grip. She couldn’t help it, but her eyes drifted over to the three people that were huddled over something. They seemed to be talking about something, but she had not idea what it was. She sighed to herself, and retired to the bed. She sat down on the edge and then scooted back to rest her back against the headboard, and then reached for a magazine that was left behind by someone.
Nichole tried to not feel out of place, but she really didn’t know what was going on. She was suddenly reminded of Crossroads, and how much Dean had kept her out of the loop. She looked up and over at her hunter, but he seemed to not notice her so she went back to looking at the magazine. She didn’t know what else she was suppose to do, but she didn’t expect a set of footsteps to approach her either. She tensed up, expecting it to be her father or that lady. TAGGED: Palooza Group WORD COUNT: 368 NOTES: Isn’t very good at preparing for a hunt. [/div]

After securing both brothers in a room and kept watched by Norah, Bishop was the one to make sure that Ruby and John was ushered to room a few doors down where Abiel and Darrius and Ki waited. These three didn’t really have any real relationships with the giant and the younger Winchester brothers, so they were the ones to get the low down and the planning on the way ahead of time while. John, Ruby and Nichole have some time with the loved ones. It was a bit acquired for Bishop but when he checked his watch and saw how late it was.
When they finally did arrive to the room where Abiel, Darrius, and Ki had already had several papers, newspaper articles, website pages, a whiteboard full of names, and places, and several other things that pointed toward Demon activity in the state of Las Vegas, NV, and once the rest of the party was in the room. They filled them in what Ki already knew by now. Darrius told them about the four demons that stormed his home and killed his family three hundred years ago, and how he took down the leader the white eyed demon a few weeks ago, and now his found the second one in this general location, and asked for their help. Abiel of course made it a bit clear on that the demon knew about Darrius being here along with they caught word about a Caravan of Hunters in the area as well, and were now gathering to do a preemptive strike and thousand maybe even hundreds of thousands might die within a few weeks, including the ones they cared about. Bishop of course wasn’t so surprised about this news. Recently with all the high named Hunters traveling with Lorica now, this was bound to happen sooner or later, and Bishop had drawn up several plans for this exact event with the help of the other Hunters that had at one point at time traveled with them as well, and with that Note, Abiel handed the reins over to
Bishop to explain the best course of plan for this event, and when all eyes and ears turned Bishop way. He gave them the low down. He explained that they needed to split the party into two, one party being the scout party and locate the Enemies base and find the leader, and keep a tab on there where about, while the other team stay behind and start gearing up for the upcoming battle, shelling salt rounds, obtaining holy water, gathering Palo Santo, and Ruby’s knife if she had it. This team was also giving the job to protect the home front if the attack was early, once that was done. Bishop came up with an idea of grabbing a hat and paper and writing down names and folding them up in the hat and drawing them out to see which team was the Scout party and the Home team, and he even gave Ki one of the ones Bishop deemed the less person that wants to get out there and open fire on the demons, but the way it played out with Abiel, Darrius, Ki, and Dean when he arrived being the Scout party and the rest being the Home team, it seemed God had other plans, and that was where John, Ruby, Bishop and Nichole were left off with being the home team.
Now Bishop, John, and ruby were making the rounds that would blast a hole into the enemy’s lines, making calls to their suppliers for the supplies they need for the upcoming battle. Bishop was too wrapped up in the preparations to not notice Nichole having a hand in the deal. He was keeping an eye on the ex-demon and keeping her away from Nichole for the most part, and watching John to see if he was stable enough for what was to come. So far everything was going fine, besides the fact that Ruby was still giving Nichole the stink eye every sparing moment, and when the half angel sat back on the bed reading a magazine, he could have sworn he heard a growl. Bishop whirled around in his chair to a map of the Casino, “John Ruby, I’m going to check some of these exits and enter points out, and get more rock salt. I’m going to need some help, I’ll take Nichole.” Bishop eyed both the ex-demon, and the Father of the women he was having a relationship with, and without waiting for a word from anyone of them. Bishop stood from his chair and walked over to Nichole’s side and knowing she knew someone was here. She put down her paper back, and he fixed her with a smile.
“ Come on beautiful , we have to get some supplies.” Bishop announced giving her some room to stand up and once she was ready he lead the way out the door and held it for Nichole before shutting it leaving John and Ruby in the room. “You alright Nichole, you seem off a little bit. Is it because what happen with Adam and Sam?” Bishop asked holding Nichole’s hand as they started down the hall.

She knew he would want time with John so she gave the father and son a wide berth but when it came to their time but when Nichole was near Sam Ruby was also, making sure the dangerous little minx wasn’t going to try anything stupid, ready and willing to finish her if need be. Hell if it were up to Ruby the girl would already be dead, she didn’t appreciate anyone messing with Sam (a bit hypocritical yes but it was honest) and when people did she had a drive to make sure they paid for that mistake. When it finally came her time to take up Sam’s hand she did, kissing it gently and tenderly, not caring what the action betrayed in that moment. She then moved to his belt and slipped from it her knife, the one she had let him carry till now, knowing that it not only would be needed tonight but that also in her capable hands it would do the most good. She had no intention of keeping it past the night. After she secured her knife in the holder on her hip she bent over to Sam’s ear and softly whispered to him. “Please Sammy, come back to us.” Then she rose from his side and moved with the others from the room to where Bishop was waiting for them, taking a seat by a window to watch them carefully, her eyes moving to Nichole every now and then. The problem as Ruby now saw it was that this thing, whatever it was, had moved from the position of an annoyance who had messed with Sam to now something that could harm hundreds of people, among them a man who she had recently become protective of who was in this very hotel that the tart had made rock and roll, Christopher. All she wanted to do was pull out her gun and put a bullet in the blonde’s brain but she could hear Sam’s voice clear as day in her mind saying 'No Ruby' her conscious still his voice warning her to not make a move she’d regret. She was also well aware of John’s presence in the room, the threat of him hanging over her making her feel as if the air she was breathing might reach out to choke her at any moment. She was sure now he had no idea who she was or what she had been or she wouldn’t have made it this far, yet another reason for her to hold her actions against Nichole till she was sure of how John felt about the little fake. As Bishop pulled the blonde from the room a smirk formed over Ruby’s lips, obviously the hunter had sensed how close his little chippie was to real danger from her; it didn’t surprise her since she wasn’t doing anything to hide her contempt for the girl. Of course that’s when she realized she was now in a room, alone, with the most deadly of all demon hunters, her dark eyes trailing over to John and resting on him, she’d not be the one to open up any dialog between them because honestly what could she say between 'Don’t kill me?' and 'How about those Mets?'. LOCATION: NYNY Casino, Vegas MUSIC: Iron by Within Temptation OUTFIT: Back to the leather coat plus her knife NOTES: Then there were two….dum dum dummmmm
