Nichole sat at the counter, a beer in hand, waiting and dreading this. She choose this place due to the fact that she knew he liked to drink somewhat, but she had choose a beer instead of something more stout. She didn’t want a repeat of what happened to Bishop’s club last time she hit the strong scotch, the whole place ups and disappears only to reappear somewhere else. So she thought that perhaps something less strong would keep the casino and bar in the same place. She had already had talked to Dean, Bishop, and Adam. Now it was time to face her father, and she made a mental note not to call him that or any variation of it. Her mistake she made with Sam in Crossroads, still stuck with her. She’ll try to call him by his name, even though she’ll find it a bit weird. She had no right to the title that Dean, Sam, and Adam had, she didn’t get to know him and him her in that regard. A few tears slipped from her eyes, and she quickly wiped them away. She took a long pull from her bottle, emptying half of it in one go. She was not going to give into those thoughts and emotions connected to them.
She quickly emptied the bottle, and motioned the bartender for another. She was waiting for John to show up. She figured he would make an appearance soon, wanting something to drink, to perhaps forget about something. She didn’t know, but she wasn’t going push the envelope to find out either. The only thing she hopes is that he wouldn’t just lift the gun, point it at her cranium, and squeeze the trigger effectively ending her. Her foot and leg started to shake in worry, and she bit her bottom lip in a sudden urge to wish that she didn’t come there alone. She was having second thoughts, wishing she had brought Bishop with her. She could have asked Dean, but she doubted that he would stop their father if he wanted to kill her. She loved her father and brothers just as much as she loved her mother, but she doubted they loved her. She blinked away the pooling tears, grabbing her new frosty one and pulling at it.
Nichole really wished she could afford something more strong and stout, but she surely didn’t want to risk relocating the establishment. She heard footsteps enter the bar, and waved the bartender to get another beer. She waited until it was placed in front of her, and then took her leg off of the seat next to her when she saw who had entered. ”There is a seat over her with a free beer to start.” She called out to him, over the crowded place.
