too many dreamers,
LOOKING FOR THE ONES THAT LAST |
[/div] Nichole wandered the floor of the casino, not really knowing what she was looking for. She had already talked with Dean about what she should do, but like usual he only told her that she was staying with him and didn’t offer much help with the other choices. So she drifted among the gamblers, waving in and out of the rows of machines and card tables, trying to figure it out on her own. She didn’t notice that some of the high rollers were a bit intoxicated, and narrowly grabbed at her as she squeezed past them. She was slightly curious about this activity of gambling, and decided to just walk the floor and watch while she thought on what she needed to do. She suddenly found herself wishing for her hunter to show up.
She couldn’t help but smile dreamily as she remembered their last time alone together. Well, she wasn’t counting the little spat they had and she tried to walk away from him, only to end up on the floor out in the hallway. He carried back to his room, and they ‘aired’ out what was wrong, and then spent the day just enjoying each other’s company. He got them cereal, taught her how to work the remote for when she got put into sleazy motels again, and just watched cartoons all day. Just thinking of that day only made her smile brighten considerably, she liked him. And she liked him a lot. That much was certain.
Nichole was so lost in her thoughts of her hunter, she failed to notice that a set of footsteps were approaching her. When she did notice, it was at the same time a strange hand grabbed her. She could literally smell the alcohol roll off the man as he tried to get her to follow him up to his room, and she tried her best to tell him no. However it seemed that he was one of those that did not understand the meaning of the word, as he just kept trying to haphazardly drag her toward the elevators while keeping his drink still. Before she new what had happened, someone intervened and forced him back to his room alone. She failed to notice who it was until she looked at them, she couldn’t help the smile that beamed on her face. She launched herself at her rescuer, wrapping her arms around him as was their usual greeting. TAGGED: Bishop WORD COUNT: 408 NOTES: She is glad to see him. After the final show of the night, Bishop didn’t want to do anything else but crawl into his hotel room that he shared with the Boys, and Abiel, but as soon as he arrived both Alec, and Luke were in a full swing of an after party of the show, with a few other of the roadies and “lucky” ladies and man that caught both twins eyes. They called Bishop over, but Bishop had to refuse he had to get some form of rest, even if that was to barricade his room door, and bury his head under the hotel’s fluffy pillows, and that was what Bishop was planning to do, but just like the After party being a major hiccup in his plan of sleep. So was the threesome in his bed. After a very quick WTF, outrage from both sides. Bishop grab a change of clothes and headed for the shower, not wanting to waste the energy of throwing the intruders of his bed out. Bishop shut the door to the bathroom and locked the door and jumped into the shower, where the streaming, droplets of water washed over Bishop with open arms on Bishop Part, and mauling over the day and recent events of the early night. If it was another night, and Bishop wasn’t as drained. Otherwise Bishop would have join Alec and Luke with the party in the Hotel’s living room, and have some fun tonight, since the next session wasn’t until 11 the next day, or kicked the party of three that was in his room out, and taught the douche of guy to think of doing something like that in a Hunter’s bed some manners, but Bishop was going to let that slide this once. After getting dressed in an outfit that had history with an half angel that he knew very well, and a ring of Holy fire. Bishop headed downstairs to the casino area for a bit to see if he could find someone he knew that would spare them his or her room to him. To at least get an hour or two of shut eye. However it seemed God had other plans for Bishop because he sent an angel across his path with a little trouble pulling her along. The rush of the anger , mixed with the adrenaline, the Three some in his bed, and Nichole being dragged by a douche that did not know what “NO” meant. Got Bishop alerted, and fully awake, and with a quick open hand strike to the guy’s throat which forced him to not only drop his drink on the carpet but let Nichole go all at once, and a swift knee to the sternum and head collusion with the up button of the elevator. Bishop sent the guy packing. Pivoting on his feet after taking a deep breath and letting it out through his mouth, Bishop was unexpected the lunge hug that Nichole landed on him, and he couldn’t help but beam like a nine year old boy on his crush, while he wrapped his arms around her in a big, tight hug. “So I’m guessing Dean is away, and a certain angel decided she wanted to play, and found trouble along the way.” Bishop joked heartily not noticing that his sentence had a nice rhyme ring to it. Bishop set Nichole back an arm’s length away his hands still on her arms, lightly rubbing with his thumbs on her arms. “ Something’s never change Nichole.”

too many dreamers,
LOOKING FOR THE ONES THAT LAST |
[/div] Nichole clinged to him, her hunter, as an unexpected meeting still rang fresh in her mind. She had learned something while she was traveling with Dean. She learned that the Winchester name was well known in the hunting world, and that it is connected with the first start of the Apocalypse. But she has yet to figure out when Sam and Dean were sent to Heaven by the two hunters, Roy and Walt, why they didn't even come across a trail of her. She would have loved to meet them then, but they somehow managed to not even get a whiff of her. She could spend a lifetime figuring it out, and perhaps never will. Not unless she asks someone who had decided to make her family forget about her, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon. Not unless the pointed winged pricks apologizes to her family first, and she doubted that they ever will.
“So I’m guessing Dean is away, and a certain angel decided she wanted to play, and found trouble along the way. Something’s never change Nichole.”
Dean had already known that Lucifer is back, and she knew that it would only be a matter of time before Michael shows up as well. She just felt safe when he held her like that, and not like the same safety of Dean safe either. It was a different safe, but the same type of safe. Then when he pulled her back to arm's length, she couldn't help but feel a little bit vulnerable. She could of course feel the corner of her lips pull upwards into an attempt of a smile, and managed to give a small one when she felt his thumbs rub her arms lightly. ”No not quite, Bishop. I just met with Dean a few minutes ago...” She answered him and looked away, moving her arms to hug herself. Even though Bishop was with her, he was still an arm's length from her. ”But somethings do, Bishop. Somethings do.” She added and looked at him, her meeting with Lucifer still rattling her to no end.
”Lucifer is back, Bishop. I know because he, well, he sort of kidnapped me. Took me to the east coast, and talked. And before you ask, no I don't know what he wants exactly. He never did answer me when I asked him. And now I'm not sure what is going to happen after the time is up here.” Nichole finally confessed to him, somehow knowing he would understand what she meant by the devil being free from the cage. She was still a bit shook up from that confrontation every time she thought about it. Thing was that the first person she ran into on the way back from that meeting was who else, Dean. She was pretty shook up, and it took her brother a good while to calm her down so she could tell him what had happened. Then of course when she told him why she had tried to leave the casino, he flat out told her that she was going with him and there was no room for argument from him. That was her big brother, always trying to make his family safe and take charge. TAGGED: Bishop WORD COUNT: 546 NOTES: She isn't quite sure where to go from here...
