You see I cannot be forsaken Because I‘m not the only one~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The young dark haired girl waltz through the cemetery, her stomach rumbling. She was out hunting, but luck was not on her side. Animals were scarce and she was getting hungry. She paused at a tombstone, and let her senses do the hard work for her. She heard a fast heartbeat, and her nose picked up the scent of a wolf. The soft growling and walking around did not do the animal any good. She had finally found her meal, and she rushed forward to strike. The canine launched itself at her at the same time, and the two of them met in mid air.
They collided and crashed like a rock to the ground on someone’s grave. They fought, the canine for its life, her for her hunger. Needless to say the animal was no match for her strength and need for survival. The fight was over just as soon as it started, and she sat there hunched over the poor creature. Her face at it’s neck as she drank it’s blood, and if an outsider were to walk up on her it would like she was snuggling the animal instead of feeding and killing it. As the canine’s life’s blood poured into her mouth, she could feel the tightness of her empty belly ease and fill up. As she continued to kill the poor thing, her hearing picked up on footsteps approaching her. Her immediate reaction was to growl loudly, in a warning to not approach her or suffer the consequences.

Felix was enjoying his night; it was pretty late for the mortals but early for Felix's kind. He was making his way back from a small club that was pretty much a hole in the wall. It wasn't a high end club no, not the least; just a man who took his life savings to chase a dream that he had years ago and the outcast would come to his club and party. This didn't by any means that it was lame, or one of those Goth style clubs where the settling was dark, and full of death, no it was dark, but death wasn't part of this scene. Not at all this scene had life as the strobe lights went on and off rotating on a set course giving the dancers and club goers a sense of being in a slide show going two times the normal speed. The reason why Felix was there because he knew a few of the kids, well young adults there had a thing for vampires and usually partake in drinking blood from, "Donors" that got off from the blood taking. The first time Felix saw this he was beyond himself in amusement at the play of being a vampire, not one of his kind but the ones that glamour the movie screens now and days. With two sharp upper canines instead of rows upon rows of sharp like teeth the vampires really had, so when a few girls came up to him asking for a bite. Of course he took part, instead of drinking her in front among the others, Felix explained he was a shy vampire of sorts, and the female named, Marela; give him a soft smile and took his head and lead him to a back room was set up for feeding she explained. It wasn't much just a dark maroon couch that was a bit darker color of the walls that surround them, with a table, a fridge with food that supplied enough vitamins and minerals that allowed the Donor to bounce back from the feeding. After getting his fill Felix made sure Marela was okay and was off on his way to the next Donor and to the next. After about an hour of feeding and dancing off and on, Felix had his fill. If other Vampires saw this type of Feeding they would bash and ride on Felix's uncontrollable hunger but that wasn't the case. Felix took a lot of Donors because he did not kill his Donors that offered him their blood, and because of this. It usually took more than one or two Donor's to reach Felix's quota for him to be fine for the rest of the night, hell for the next week or so if he stretched it. This style of feeding most Vampires won't choice because of the Hunger was so great and the vampire doesn't have enough disciple to stop feeding when their prey was near death. Once the blood was in the water it seemed all control seemed to be gone from vampires. It took Felix himself a few hundred years before partaking a Human without killing them. Even though Felix's Coven members always joked about his habits not being vampric enough. They have no idea how long it actually took him for his vampric nature to be in check. Now Felix was taking a short cut to his place across a graveyard that took up about a block and a half. His hands were in his pockets of his dark blue jeans, green shirt that fit perfectly. Felix was making his way through the graves reading each head stone's name paying respect to each and every soul he passed with a nod and a short prayer in Greek. Even though half of these souls were off to the next world, a great deal of them still remained. Sad and alone in grief over the loss of connection with the world of mortals with them not being able to be seen or heard, only by a select and special few, and Felix was one that could see these souls. Not because he was a vampire, but because of the Demon blood that ran in his veins before he was a vampire. Thanks to this it gave him an edge above some vampires, he even gave it credit for the reason why his able to keep his human side when he became a vampire. When Felix was done saying a prayer for a poor little girl's soul who seemed to be killed by her father before the man took his own life. He heard the sounds of the Hunt that only belonged to one of his own kind. Felix smelled the air and tasted blood in its context but not Human blood but something else something that belong more to nature then the world of man. Felix shiftily maneuvered though the gravestones of the graveyard until he came to a small scene of at first looked like a female was crying with her dog over a grave, but with one sniff of the air Felix knew that the blood was coming from the dog.... no wolf in the females arms, then like her noticing him standing there she crouched and hissed his way with a growl. "Calm down lacy, I’m not here to steal your meal." Felix gave her a smile that came off friendly as he held his hands in a defensive position.

You see I cannot be forsaken Because I‘m not the only one~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Ally was of course hungry, and not knowing of any other feeding habits this was all she knew. No one taught her differently, no one was around to make sure she was doing it right, and more importantly no one was around to make sure she was alright. Her stomach was growling, as she hadn’t feed in a while. The wildlife was scarce for some reason, and this caused her to find a meal few and far between. So when she sensed and heard another approach her and her meal, she couldn’t help but respond a bit hostilely toward them. All she was thinking was that it was her meal, and she wasn’t going to share. For she didn’t know how much longer she would have to wait before her next meal.
"Calm down lacy, I’m not here to steal your meal."
The young brunette vampire eyed the intruder warily, and moved herself around so that she can keep an eye on him over the body of the wolf that was of course lying prone between them. The heart still beating and pumping the blood that her rumbling stomach craved. What she didn’t know was that she didn’t know that she might be the only vampire who has yet had human, and is on a strict diet of animal blood. As the blood stop flowing into her mouth, and the heart stopped beating in the animal in her grasp she knew that she was less hungry now and the poor creature was dead. She was still hungry, but not as starved as she was before she started.
Now that Ally was done with her meal, she got to her feet and looked at the other male vampire that was giving her a smile that told her he was trying to be friendly towards her. She was a bit confused, and her brow burrowed in reflection. She actually hadn’t met another like her before, and didn’t know what to make of this meeting. So instead, she clasped her hands in front of her and looked down at the ground. It was then that she noticed that she had gotten quite a bit of the animal’s blood on her front, ruining her clothes. She bit back a string of curse words, knowing she would have to trash them now. ”I’m sorry. It’s just that…a meal is coming hard to come by these days, and I was hungry. Starving, really. And I didn’t…” She tried to apologize for her behavior, and then looked away before continuing to explain herself. ”…know if you were hungry to. And now my clothes are ruined…” She finished up with a sigh, as she wondered how she was going to get a replacement articling of clothing. She didn’t have a job, nor did she have any money. She was squatting for crying out loud.

Felix sniffed the air and with his vampric sense of smell noticed things that only other vampires would notice and pick. Things that mortal and others could not unless they themselves had a high sense of smell as well.
“Your very, young in vampire standards." Felix gave her a soft, charming smirk as he stepped forward with his notion, but he kept his hands up in the same defensive position.
“Don’t worry I’ve already fed before I arrived, just want to take a look at your work." Felix informed Allyson as he took his eyes away from her and studied her kill. Even though Felix held his hands in a defensive position and might have come off as the one that was on the weaker end. That was far from the case; even though it is yet to be tested about with the passing of years that vampires grow stronger like the vampires in Anne Rice’s Vampires from her novel series, but knowledge came for the wise who kept an open ear and eye out during the passing of ages and learned a trick or two. Besides Felix had a trick or two up his sleeve that no other vampire that he knew had other than his brother; even then he had a leg up on his older brother.
Once nodding a few times and a smile grew across Felix’s face he turned to Allyson still with his hands up. “Not bad, clean kill for the most part. Now the question is are you still hungry? If so i can teach you a few tricks on tracking these babies down. Since by the way you were reacting when i aproached gave way these haven't been the best few weeks or months for you?" | [atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, height: 320px; padding: 20px 240px 60px 30px;] Location:Graveyard Music: Outfit: dark blue jeans, green shirt that fit perfectly. You see I cannot be forsaken Because I‘m not the only one~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Ally actually felt like she was a child with her hand caught red-handed in the cookie jar. Sure, she wasn’t a child any more, but the point was that she really didn’t know any other vampires. She had thought that she was alone, for she had not had the opportunity to just happen across another of like her before. She looked at him curiosity clearly written on her face as he basically said she was a nomad and without a coven, and then sniffed the air before saying she was a very young vampire.
He kept his hands up as if he didn’t want her to think he was attacking her, and began to slowly make his way toward her. He said that he had fed before stumbling across her, and that he wanted to see her work. Well, she was a twenty year old girl who had only been a vampire for about a year. No one teaching her a thing, and she had to learn as she went. She wasn’t even sure if she was doing the things she had been doing right, or even if she was suppose to do them. So she was basically flying blind as a vampire, and it feels strange to have someone critique her. She felt like she was being tested or something, and she had a sense of failing miserably.
“Not bad, clean kill for the most part. Now the question is are you still hungry? If so i can teach you a few tricks on tracking these babies down. Since by the way you were reacting when i aproached gave way these haven't been the best few weeks or months for you?"
Ally actually blinked her eyes at him. She didn’t truly know what exactly was going on, but her stomach rumbled slightly indicating that it was indeed still a bit hungry. ”I am just a bit, but you mean to say that vampires don’t normally react that way?” She asked him after she found her voice again. It did not occur to her that she might have just told him from her question that she did not have any lessons on how to survive.

“ But those types are usually the territory types that don’t like other vampires in their treff, but you don’t seem like that type and two.” Felix gave her a warm friendly smile as he pointed to the blood on her shirt. “ Seasoned Vampires won’t be caught dead with blood on their clothes unless they were themselves starving or very sloppy and three. “Felix this time with the same finger pointed to the dead wolf.
“ Your prey, most vampires aren’t veggies, but it’s not unheard.” Felix unfolded his arms crouching down next to the wolf and with his fingers started to poke into the wolf and drag across the flesh until it tore and gave way. He repeated this a few more times, and once that was done he opened the stomach removed a few things and placed it into a pile next to the wolf and went to work on biting a few limbs of the wolf. When the work was done Felix stepped back as he stood and cocked his head to the side as he looked at his work. It looked like a ligament animal attack.
“ It would have been fine to leave it or move it, but I’m very couscous about Hunters being bored and following any trails that sounds odd.” Felix smiled nudging Allyson with his elbow.
“ The names Felix.” Felix introduced himself offering his hands then looked at the blood that was quickly drying on them and gave an apologetic smile and dropped it back to his side. Felix eyes drifted over to the pile of enthralls that he had left next to the wolf and before Allyson spoke he raised one finger.
“ Hold on one moment.” Felix moved with speed that Allyson could match and grabbed the Wolf’s inside and raced off to the woods nearby and tossed the intralls into the waiting river and let them flow downstream while he washed his hands in the cold, crisp river water before rejoining Allyson.

You see I cannot be forsaken Because I‘m not the only one~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Ally listened to him point out things about her. She didn’t realize she was the easy to read, and obviously she could have put herself in danger from what she had learned from reading stories as they called them vampire hunters. He then called her a veggie, and then bent down and began to tear at the wolf’s coat with his finger to make it seem that it was attacked by another animal or something. She then watched as he removed the stomach cavity and put it into a neat pile before biting on the legs to make the image more complete of an animal attack.
”It would have been fine to leave it or move it, but I’m very couscious about Hunters being bored and following any trails that sounds odd. The names Felix. Hold on one moment.”
The brunette looked as he threw the entrails into a nearby water, clearly hearing the splash and him washing his hands before rejoining her. ”Hunters? Like Van Helsing?” She asked him, worry clearly written on her face. He was talking Greek to her it seemed, and she suddenly realized just how little she knew. Her eyes began to dart around the cemetery around her, now a bit cautious of what was around her. ”I’m…Allyson…” She introduced herself almost like an afterthought, fear and worry clearly underlying her tone. She had the sudden need to get out of the open, and head for some kind of cover.
”I think I should go…” Ally added, as she started to retreat. She wanted to keep her life, not end it. Not like this anyway. She had hoped if and when she did bite the dust, she wanted to be human again. But everything she had found and read said that was impossible. So she was stuck as a vampire. No cure it seemed.

Of course there were some Hunters down the line after reading Dracula, by Bram Stoker. Felix recovered enough to hear Allyson’s name and that was about it. He wanted to say good one, but every time he heard it in his head the way Allyson let the words slip like she didn’t know anything about the world she lived in. Felix pegged her about ten, twenty years into her new life, but when Allyson said she had to go. Felix stopped laughing slowly as he studied Allyson’s facial expression and saw the slight fear in her eyes. Felix stopped altogether as he stepped forward and held out a hand to Allyson.
“ Whoa it’s alright you don’t have to go anywhere.” Felix said slowly not taking another step then he already did. He had no clue what was eating this Vampire alive and got her shaking in her boots. Then it slowly started to dawn on him.
“ You know Van Helsing isn’t really right, none of that stuff, besides there being Hunters out there?” Felix waited for Allyson’s reply but his answer was written all over her.
Before Allyson could speak Felix spoke dumbfoundedly. “Oh My God your fresh aren’t you?” Felix was using Vampire slang that she was just turned recently.
“ I’m sorry I mean you were turned recently right?” Felix asked taking another step closer to her placing the hand that was held out to her on his forehead like a vampire headache was coming on; which it was. As he tried to piece together the pieces, and after a few seconds it all fit. The feeding on the wolf, her reaction to Felix finding her, the state of her clothes from her feeding. Felix’s eyes set on Allyson with a hard, look as he tried to put more pieces together on why she was out here alone, but it wasn’t fitting. He needed more pieces for this puzzle, and Allyson had those pieces. “You know you aren’t supposed to be that far from you sire right. Is he or she nearby?” Felix asked Allyson with a calm voice that carried none malice, or steel that was in his eyes. Felix was trying to keep that far away from Allyson as he could. None of it was her fault unless she ran from her sire, but even her sire was responsible for her actions. That was who Felix had the pickle with, to leave someone that was Fresh like this alone. Felix was going to tear them a new one. Not only for leaving his child unattended but for making Felix work on his day off.

You see I cannot be forsaken Because I‘m not the only one~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Ally looked at Felix, a puzzled expression mixing in with her fear, when he laughed at her remark about Van Helsing. She wondered what he found so funny about her trying to use a fictional character to reference something she had completely no knowledge of. It was like Felix expected her to know these things he spoke of, and when she mentioned leaving for safety, he stopped laughing and seemed to study her before taking one step forward and held out his hand toward her. He said that she didn’t have to go, and then informed her that Van Helsing wasn’t real. She opened her mouth to answer that she of course she knew that, and then he pressed on asking her if she was fresh. She only stood there blinking at him in confusion.
“I’m sorry I mean you were turned recently right? You know you aren’t supposed to be that far from you sire right. Is he or she nearby?”
The newly turned vampire only looked down from him. What do I tell him? That yeah, I was turned a year ago? My sire abandoned me the night he attacked me and turned me? That I’ve tried to learn it all on my own? She looked up to answer him, and saw how angry and upset he was in his eyes. His tone was in stark contrast to his eyes, and she suddenly felt like she was in major trouble if not in danger. ”Only a year, and no I didn’t know. I don’t know where he is. He attacked me and left me alone…” She answered him, fearful tears threatening to spill from her eyes. He looked angry, and she automatically began to shrink back from him. The change in his eyes scaring her, she suddenly felt more vulnerable than ever before…

One was of pure rage and anger from the neglect some Vampires had for their children they bring over to the other side. Even though Allyson looked to be in her twenties tops, it was still rough for people to Transunion to the new life of a vampire, the second was of pity and sadness for Allyson whose life was taken life was taken without her choice, and before her time. Of course this life wasn’t really a given choice to most, but she was forced to take upon her sire’s blood and then just thrown away, the next confusion of what to do with the young vampire. Felix could easily have let Allyson go at this moment and let Fate have its way with her, but that wasn’t something Felix could do lightly especially seeing the near tears in her eyes, mostly from his own actions and reactions he was taking to the mess. Felix closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose and took in a unneeded deep breath and let it out and opened his eyes as he moved just a few feet away and leaned against a tombstone, his eyes back on Allyson.
“I’m sorry for the actions that one of my own kinds has taken against you. I’m what you could call a sheriff of sorts in the vampire world. So it will be a personal mission to find your vampire sire. They aren’t supposed to do these sort of actions. My name is Felix Helios by the way.” Felix introduced himself folding a hand over the other that was placed on his thigh and his legs crossed as he leaned. He was telling the truth for the most part, this sort of action wasn’t supposed to happen. Not the forced to sire someone no vampires has done that from the dawn of our own creation. It was how we breed, how we survived as a race, no the actions he was speaking of was leaving Allyson alone, and if Allyson never asked about which one he was speaking of he would be all to happy not to answer her, she’s been through enough h already it seemed in the pass year surviving as she was now with animals blood. Felix shuddered at the thought of tasting that fool blood once more. He didn’t know how Allyson did it, but Felix wrapped that up to the point that she didn’t know how to hunt not that it was her choice to hunt animals instead of living human beings.

Ally fearfully watched Felix’s eyes as a set of emotions quickly flashed across them. Rage, anger, pity, sadness, confusion. They flitted across his eyes so quickly, if she was human she couldn’t tell that he had them flash across his eyes. She was fearful that he would do something harmful to her. The way he speaks about sires and things like that sounded like she had done something wrong, and he was going to punish her. She got the feeling that he was way much older than she was, and she didn’t think it would help her to run from him either. She sensed he was old, and she wouldn’t be able to escape him if she tried. She of course watched him lean against a nearby tombstone, cross his legs, and seem nonchalant.
“I’m sorry for the actions that one of my own kinds has taken against you. I’m what you could call a sheriff of sorts in the vampire world. So it will be a personal mission to find your vampire sire. They aren’t supposed to do these sort of actions. My name is Felix Helios by the way.”
The young vampire stood there, blinking at him, not sure what is going on at the moment. Her fight or flight response was working overtime to get an reaction from her. But she didn’t move one bit. She was too frightened to do so. Too terrified of provoking something from him. She was more like a scared little child afraid of their parent’s punishment for getting caught red-handed with their hand in the cookie jar. ”V…vampire sheriff? What sort of actions?” She stuttered in slight fear. She wanted to go back to her hideout, hide, and stay there. But her need for answers to her questions was more driving that her need to turn tail and run.

I go and clean up the messes that they made, and make sure that punishment is dealt out for others not to do it as well.” Felix rolled his hand in a circle as he went on not taking the time to look at Allyson’s reaction to his presences but when he did pay attention, he saw fear and he quickly shook his head as he stood up straight. “I’m not talking about you, you’ve done nothing wrong that I see, but your sire.” Felix spite on the ground with disgust; before meeting Allyson’s eyes, but with calmness this time not rage or anger, but simple plain calmness.
“The poor actions that your sire took by making you, then leaving you be hide. Those are the actions I’m talking about. We have… rules some might not be spoken rules, but still rules, and your sire broke them. None should be left like you should have been our race even though some would call us more a virus then a breed. We are low on numbers and usually someone that’s so young in the life like you. They don’t last long, but I see you’ve adapted to feeding to animals from time to time, instead of human. That’s good.” Felix complimented Allyson on her tactics of switching up her game of prey, not knowing again that Allyson still hasn’t tasted the blood of man, and preferred animals instead.
“if your still hungry I could help you hunt down a meal or two. I saw some Goths a ways back. They couldn’t have gotten that far.”

Ally stood there, confusion evident in her eyes. Wondering about these enemies he spoke of, and wondered if she made herself a target without knowing. Her fear finally abetted when he said that she hadn’t done nothing wrong, and she took a tender step backwards when he spat on the ground as he mentioned the man who turned her. She watched as he meet her eyes, and she noticed that his eyes held nothing but calmness. No anger. No rage. Calmness. She retook the step forward, tenderly, as if he still might turn to anger and rage. She did so in such a way, that clearly told him that she was still skittish of this whole situation. She was skittish, and who wouldn’t be if one has been on their own for so long only to come across another like them. A much needed urge to turn to someone for help, guidance over came her. However, she doubted that Felix would be willing to give her that.
He then told her about what he was talking about, and he mentioned rules. Her eyes got wide again, not knowing if she broke any of these rules she began to slowly retreat again. Until she backed herself into a nearby tombstone that was large enough to stop her retreat. ”There are rules?” She asked quietly, as if she was afraid she broke any of them. She barely heard him compliment her on her feeding habits, and she didn’t know what else to do. This was just a little too much for her, and she slid down to the ground to bring her knees to her chest. She placed her face into her knees, and buried it into them. She was confused and vulnerable, and she didn’t know what to do. And on top of that, she was still hungry.
“if your still hungry I could help you hunt down a meal or two. I saw some Goths a ways back. They couldn’t have gotten that far.”
Ally finally lifted her face and looked at Felix in horror. He was suggesting she attack innocent humans, and feed from them. ”H…human? I…I don’t drink human… I…I’ve never had human…” She couldn’t help the tears that started to flow down her cheeks, and she only ended up pulling her knees closer to her chest and bury her face into them some more.

He wanted to say more but the fear returned to Ally’s face and voice again. Felix held a hand out toward Ally, “ Ally it’s your choice no one has the right even in the undead life to take the right of how you feed from you. Don’t worry your safe.” Felix voice was that of comfort and soft but calm and firm voice that he could muster to comfort Ally’s wary mind from the thought and let her know it’s her choice to feed.
“But…. There are places that allow…donors for you to feed. I’ve just come back from one myself. We could go back but if the whole not drinking blood from humans turn you off. I know a place that gives out pig’s blood for a price of course, I can set it all up for you if you like?” As Felix talked he had moved from his original spot leaning against the tombstone to now pacing slowly playing with his steps as he went around and then ended his small trip next to Ally’s side. He was leaning against another tombstone with one hand his legs crossed. His eyes were lingering on the moving night craters that wandered the land of the dead, before his eyes settled on Ally.
“ It’s not so bad for either party member, I’ve asked and after a few years something you should know lying is useless to tell to a vampire. We can smell the sweat, hear the skip of the heartbeat, and practically see the mind turning its wheels to turn to produce a lie.” Felix gave Ally a small comfort smile before going on, “ But again you don’t have to.” | [atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, height: 320px; padding: 20px 240px 60px 30px;] Location: Gaveyard Music: Deathbed There for Tomorrow Outfit: Dark Blue jeans, green shirt that fit him perfectly and boots Notes: Sorry it’s a bit short.

Ally didn’t want to be hunted like an animal. She didn’t even want to be what she is, but then she really didn’t have a choice. Just the thought of accidentally passing on her condition to someone else made her not want to partake of human blood. So when Felix mentioned feeding from a human, her fear of giving them her vampirism made her scared and frightened. Not even him assuring her that no one can make her change from animal to human or saying that she is safe, made her feel any better. He then went on to tell her about places that have people letting creatures like themselves feed from them, and she just couldn’t wrap her mind around the fact that someone would be willing to be bitten and nearly killed. Then he mentioned a place that sells pig’s blood, and she slowly lifted her head to look at him. She was scared and frightened, and it clearly shown on her face and in her eyes. She thought she was doing well on her own, but what Felix had just told her threw what little logic she had about being what she was out the window. Now she thought that perhaps she would have to start from scratch…

We can smell the sweat, hear the skip of the heartbeat, and practically see the mind turning its wheels to turn to produce a lie. But again you don’t have to.”
She used the back of her hands and the sleeves of her shirt to wipe away the tears that were streaking down her face. ”It’s not that… it is just that I don’t want to make them like me…by accident. And even if I don’t, how do I know that I will not kill them?” She was back to hugging her knees again, insecure about her control. ”And where this lying thing come from? I mean I think I had figured it out on my own when I am being lied to and all…” created by ADE! Pb-ified by WILLlyrics are 'Bartholomew' by The Silent Comedy |
