As A.J. exited the exploding, off the wall, club called the Pure in Las Vegas which was located at Caesar’s palace. He simple could not believe his luck. In the past few weeks his stayed in Las Vegas, his luck really has turned around. He found a job that allowed him to move from his run down crap hole of apartment, to a descent crap hole not far from his job, pay his bills for now, and even paid for his new Harley Davidson that he was loving right now. Everything seemed like things were going up for A.J., if only his boss would get his name straight for once and instead of calling him Dj Nova, and call him Dj Apollo, would be great, but his boss kept saying D.J. Nova sounded hotter, and Now that Rihanna had introduced him to Lil Wayne as D.J. Nova, the name was good as in stone and sold.
Yup Rihanna herself had introduced A.J. to one of his ideals, Lil Wayne a genius in his own right. A man that never had given up on his dream of making it big in the music biz and now he was on top. It didn’t seem like things were going to change anytime soon, especially with his Young Money Crew anyway. What had happen, we would have to rewind a few nights earlier. When A.J. was working one of his regular night shifts at the tity bar Double D’s Inn; where the Dancers really made the name stand out. What happen was some of Rihanna’s managers and crew were out having a good time at the Strip club and A.J. was just having a time of his life playing track after track not paying any attention to anything around him or the club in fact. He was just in his own little world, and one of the Managers’ or crew of Rihanna took notice to A.J.. He approached A.J. when he was leaving from work, and talked to him about playing for them since there traveling D.J. was having issues at home. At first A.J. was kind of skeptical of them, since his never seen them before, but his worked with worse over the past year of traveling across the Country, and of course they didn’t tell A.J. that they worked for Rihanna for whatever the reason, guessing he might decline off the bat thinking it was a scam or “balls” out because he was working for someone so famous. Whichever the case was A.J. was happy that they minus that fact, because if he did know he would never went.
When he arrived he was kind of a fan boy star stroked at the door not moving an inch, until the shock subsided and he had to excuse himself to the bathroom where he hurled for a bit and got his nerves under control, and once that passed. A.J. was fine. He learned that the D.J. that was taking over for Calvin Harris in Rihanna’s song We Found love. Had family problems at home and left inexpertly, and Rihanna needed someone to replace him at short notice. A.J. of course agreed and once again they left out what event they were covering and once again A.J. would have backed out. It seemed Rihanna was throwing her roommate Nicki Minja another Young Money under Lil Wayne was having a birthday coming up and she thought she was just having a dinner with a few friend and Rihanna at the Club Pure, but was in for a surprise.
Again once A.J. got over the shock he settled down and Rihanna and him got to work. The two really did work great together, even if it was just him Djing and not on the mac. A.J. himself didn’t care where he was really on the stage as long as he was playing, as long as he was making music, but of course that didn’t mean him and Rihanna didn’t jam out from time to time. A.J. could tell how surprise she was when she heard the white boy from Orlando Florida started to rap, during nights of relaxation and drinking. Those nights A.J. never knew he could laugh or have that much fun before in one night, and he considered sticking with the star for a bit and travel with her. He was quickly learning that he was finding a place with the Rihanna and her crew very quickly in fact, and A.J.’s luck didn’t stop there.
When Nicki’s party was upon them and the guest started to arrive, A.J. was shocked to find his idol, Lil Wayne in the club hanging out. A.J. kicked himself in the ass so hard not realizing earlier that he would be here; why he won’t. From what A.J. heard about stories of the Young Money crew and the interviews he read; they were close as family. A few of the crew that were near by and knew of the white boy’s worship of the rapper. They laughed and quickly made jokes about him running to the bathroom and ruining another toilet seat. A.J. wanted, God knew he wanted to but he kept himself bolted to the turn table trying to do everything possible to keep himself from throwing up his fill and noticing the star.
So when it was time for Rihanna to come out and start when Nicki arrive, A.J. was ready he threw on his headphones and drowned out the world like he did before. It was just him and his piece of heaven as he playedWe Found love like they rehearsed several dozen times before. A.J. was quickly beginning to miss his favorite orange jacket he wore to shows, but the Pure had a strict clothes policy the reason he was dressed as he was now, but that itself quickly passed as A.J. tuned into the zone and when his mental note of the half-life of the song was coming up. He was slowly turning back on the world noticing the lights of the club, the smell of the alcohol that was being served and the roar of the crowd he could barely hear even with his headphones. A.J. was coming fully out of his high when one of the Crew tapped him on open skin that was open and A.J. learned without taking off his head phones what the young man wanted, without listening. Rihanna had just said her happy birthday to Nicki and had thanked everyone that had help with the surprise party and had introduced her new D.J. to the club goers, A.J. himself, and usually during these moments the D.J. would instead of talk let his music speak for him, because to other artiest that’s all they needed. So that’s what A.J. did he found the track he wanted to play. Which he dubbed Cash Money Monster Which was just a complete mash up of a lot of his idol’s Lil Wayne’s songs and a few clips he mixed in himself. He felt the tug of his piece of Heaven tug at him again, fought the urge very faintly before letting it take fully over and was gone once more, and when he came back from this trip. He paused to look out of the crowd and made a major booboo. He went over his limits and crossed the line he wasn’t supposed to. He forgot his place when the music took him and he knew he had only maybe thirty seconds at best to show off, and let the star take over once more, but when he looked to Rihanna she was just smiling and clapping then the whole club erupted with applause, and the large lump in A.J.’s throat disappeared once more and the night went on with A.J. and Rihanna playing for the club.
Afterwards Lil Wayne approached A.J., and told him that mix was hot, and he was looking for new blood for the Young Money crew and A.J. might just have a chance. A.J. was so astonished from it all and thought he had simple dreamed it all, but as the night went on and A.J. came down from the high he knew it was all real.
Now A.J. was heading out of the club calling it a night, it was well four in the morning, and even though he had all these new “Friends” and star friends. He had work in the morning still. He hadn’t signed any contracts yet, so he was still legally paid by Double D’s inn and everything A.J.’s done so far was free bono and that was fine by his standards. Hell he got praise from Lil Wayne himself and might get a chance to work with him and the whole Young Money Crew as well maybe in the future it couldn’t get better than that; except it did.
A.J. was cutting through a few late party goers when one brushed passed him and A.J. almost lost everything. He was doubled over near his bike his eye’s wide, his breath’s coming shallowly, and himself feeling… he couldn’t even describe it in human tongue. A.J. was not only feeling like he was about to lose his lunch, but his mind, his heart, his entire being in fact was gone from one thought. His never had anything close to this happen before, and for the life of him he couldn’t warp his mind around what images he saw, or voices he heard, or if himself were real in this body at this moment. All he knew was that wherever or whatever was thinking about, it was wonderful, it was vast, it was in all sense of the word Heaven. A.J. eyes wondered over the crowd searching for the source of whatever wonderful thought was running through his or her mind, but none fit, none fit what A.J. just witness inside of his own mind. Until his eye’s settled on a man, something about him didn’t sit right, like he wasn’t part of this world, and before A.J. knew what even he was doing. He was rushing toward the man calling out, “Hey you slow down.” Wanting to gain another insight to Nirvana, A Nirvana he thought he could only reach though his one loves Music alone.

Luckily, or something, the angel wasn't heading all that far. Just out the fire exit (which mysteriously didn't go off when he opened it) to lean against a wall in the grubby parking lot out back and light a cigarette.
The air was cool and damp and beautifully quiet after the chaos of the club, Jophiel lit the same Players that he'd been smoking for the past eighty-four years and let the smoke roll over his tongue, dirty and delicious. The angel had the night off, six whole hours with nothing owed to anyone and he was spending it right here in Vegas, dancing and drinking and forgetting the armageddon for a while.
Except he hadn't been out there for ten whole seconds before a kid came careening out after him, looking sweaty and flushed and urgent. Trying to ignore the sneaking suspicion that this might turn out to be a Thing, Jophiel arched his eyebrows and asked, "You okay, kiddo?"

A.J. didn’t notice that condition he was in until after the two exited the party, he was doubled over hands on his knees and a bit out of breath. He could feel the sweat of his clothes cling to his skin and the cool air nip at his flesh. “I’m fine for the most part.” A.J. smiled with a laugh as he stood straight up and bent back with his hands on his hip’s stretching out his back until he felt and heard his joints pop, other than the fact that A.J. felt that he might have pulled something from chasing Jophiel down, but gave him some time to think. In truth he really just gave chase to get another glimpse of whatever he saw when Jopiel brushed past him, but now standing not that far with the space provided in the parking lot. It would be kind of strange to just go up to the guy and feel him up. It’s been a while since A.J. played for the other team, but from first impressions Jophiel didn’t seem whiling to be up for bat.
Not to make it completely acquired for either party members, A.J. just knew he had to say something to get the ball rolling. A.J. spotted Jophiel’s Cigarette and thought a joke might be the best way to break the ice, “That’s a bit sad that I’m winded and a mess after chasing you down, and you’re out here in the nice open air having a Cigarette. I think I need to cut back on the Double cheeseburgers.” A.J. gave Jophiel an uneasy smile and a acquired laugh and inside kicked himself in his ass so hard at that epic fail. A.J. tried to think very quickly to what to do next as he rocked on his heels and thought quickly before Jophiel walked out on him before he could read his mind once more, but as each thought entered his mind A.J. shot them down; thinking each one was more ridicules then the last, until he was just at a simple Introduction, with that being his only play. A.J. went with it, “ Apollo Green, but everyone just knows me as A.J., well D.J. Nova when I’m on stage, even though it’s not my stage name ti’s really supposed to be just DJ. Apollo but…” A.J. rambled on with every word fired out his speak grow faster and really running together as he tried to explain how he got his stage name D.J. Nova, but decided to just simple cut his losses while he was ahead and start over. “Sorry, long night, and I’m a bit on nerves still. Just call me A.J., just A.J.”

But he got hold of it and the expression softened again. "Cigarettes are my sin of choice, double cheeseburgers have no power to move me."
He leaned back against the cold brick wall and looked AJ over with open consideration. "It's cool, it's easy to get all wrought up in there. M'name's Joseph."
It probably looked like Jophiel was trying to decide whether he was being hit on here. And truthfully, that was part of what he was considering. But mostly he was trying to figure out why this kid had focused on him so sharply. Some people were more sensitive to an angelic nature than others, it was no particular argument of merit or holiness, just a matter of how their perceptions worked. If this kid had picked up on that it might explain the baffled sort of focus going on here.
Trying to test out that theory, Jophiel said, "Why were you chasing me down? Did I drop my wallet or something? Step on your girlfriend's toe?" He grinned at the human kid, wide and just a tiny bit flirtatious, like a guy trying confirm his gaydar was working right.

A.J. couldn’t help but smile a boyish school boy crush smile in reply to Jophiel’s own smile which seemed so infections. A.J. followed Jophiel’s lead as he leaned against one side of the Brick wall that was divided by the metal frame of the door of the club, but A.J. took the position on the opposite side of the door. He didn’t want to creep the guy out to the point it seemed he was a straight up creeper. A.J. nodded at the introduction and in his mind thought it had a nice ring to it, and Jophiel himself wasn’t that bad of a looker either. A.J. gave him the one over as he slid his hands in his brown, tan slacks. A.J. snorted and avoided Jophiel’s eyes by taking a gander at the end of his shoes. “Nah none of that, you didn’t drop your wallet, not that I know of, and if you did it’s long gone by now.” A.J. hand slipped out of his pocket and added the gesture swooshing by before letting it drop to his side. “And No girl not anymore, not after that whole baby mommy drama deal. That’s a whole can of worms I do not want to get into, and it got me playing for both side now and days.” A.J. admitted openly about his Bisexuality with the other men. Depending on how fast and famous his life took a turn for, he might need friends or something else in that general range area to keep really about his appetite for both boys and girls. Before it went on seal until A.J. was comfortable with the world knowing his business.
“As for my reason, why can’t you being someone that caught my eye be enough? It is a club right, and I think I got myself a great caught.” A.J. replied with somewhat to the truth now. He didn’t really like lying to people especially people like Jophiel that seemed pretty nice, but coming out of the closet about his sex was one thing, coming out that you can read minds with a single touch. That type of talk was the type that got A.J. a one way ticket back to the loony house, and that was one place A.J. refused to go back to.

The angel got a lot of mileage out of playing up as being a gay boy on the troll, but times like this he wondered whether maybe he hadn't been playing the part too long, long enough that it was starting to become real. Other times he wondered whether maybe he'd chosen the part because it was already real.
"Yeah," Jophiel dropped his eyes sort of halfway between shyness and flirtation, "I'm pretty spectacular." He looked back up at AJ, reached up to continue the flirtation by brushing that tumbling dark blond hair up off AJ's forehead, but as soon as his fingertips touched AJ's skin, the angel sighed and his smile went wry and self-mocking. "Ahh. I get it now."
He dropped his hand and took another drag of his smoke, looking AJ over with a different set of senses and perceptions. "You having trouble keeping it under control lately? Or is it just me?" He did that, broke through people's control and understandings. The danger of being an angel walking fully among the humans.

It was a while since A.J. actually did flirt with anyone in a while, not since his baby mommy drama erupted and exploded in his face, and that time frame were during his Hunting days, and that seemed like a life time ago, compare to now. Now his music was his one true love, but Jophiel seemed might be the man up for the job to change that; he was pretty spectacular like he stated, but A.J. didn’t know how spectacular he was until Jophiel graced him with what his former prime target was before actually talking with Jophiel. This time it wasn’t as powerful as before or the high, and heaven he had once before, but this time flashes that he could not put together or understand of the man or should say something other than an man standing in front of him. In A.J.’s entire life his knew had something like this happen before, or hunted really. When Jophiel broke contact A.J. staggered backward s a little bit catching his breath once more holding onto the wall for support, but keeping an open eye and ear on Jophiel as he spoke, and it seemed Jophiel stumbled upon his secret without him speaking, and wishing he studied a little more on his creatures to know what the hell he was dealing with, but seeing as he was still alive and Jophiel had every chance to kill him since he walked out of the club. He was willing to bet that whatever Jophiel was he was willing to play civil with him for the most part.
A.J. licked his lips and stood up straight giving Jophiel and one over to make sure during his little spell the so called man did not grow a few sharp nails or fangs while he was down. “ Ugh, um I’ve never been able to control it for the most part, but I’ve got it down to bare touch, so that saves me the headaches literary.” A.J. admitted half truthfully, but the way they were talking about it was like it was everyday dinner talk, but this wasn’t. For all A.J. knew this night might be his very last, and he was just food for Jophiel to play with before he chows down, but A.J. wasn’t going to go down so easily, he wanted to go down fight if he had to.
“So um, I told you about me, can’t you tell me what you are?” A.J. scratched the back of his head angling downward a little but still keeping an eye on Jophiel just in case he did in fact decide to attack, “Fair exchange you know right, you know I can read minds, and I don’t know kwon anything about what you are?”

"I act like a catalyst sometimes, send psychic abilities spiking out of control." He hit his cigarette, careful not to touch AJ again since that one small touch had apparently been such a jolt. "Sorry about that, I'll be more careful about it."
When AJ asked what he was, Jophiel shrugged uncomfortably. "Not a person. But harmless." At least to AJ, nothing about this young man pinged on Jophiel's angelic senses as being dangerous or likely to find himself on the wrong end of Jophiel's blade. If anything it seemed likely that it was the other way around, there was a slight...shine around the psychic kid that told the cherub that he was likely to be a tool in Heaven's plans at some point.
"You put on a good show," he smiled at AJ, wanting to change the subject if the kid would let him. It was something AJ would have to deal with someday, but it didn't have to be tonight, right when he was on the verge of a new journey in his life. Why shadow that?

A.J. took in what Jophiel was saying not fully believing what Jophiel was saying about well everything. He was willing to believe Jophiel might well be an Catalyst for the most part since the last touch just like the first almost knocked A.J. on his ass like a strung out meth user, but he had to admit he was getting a hang on the high that Jophiel sent him on with a merry touch, but a uncontrolled release of a sigh through A.J.’s noise couldn’t be helped when Jophiel took care not to touch when flicking the ash off the end of his cigarette.
Now as for the harmless statement Jophiel tried to pass, he wasn’t buying or swallowing so easily. The last time someone that was using Jophiel’s words spectacular in A.J.’s eyes she turned out to be not what she seemed and only used him for her own ends and gains, and let A.J. off lucky. She could have ended him right then and there but she didn’t. She had the power to but she simple gloated and left, leaving behind the hint that she wasn’t done with him yet, but when Jophiel tried to turn the subject so skillfully on his part and turned the subject on A.J.. A.J. could only smile not only at the praise he was receiving from the harmless, not person that caught his fancy tonight, had in fact saw his show, but at the skill on how he smoothly switched subjects with a smile.
“Why thank you kind sir, but I made a mistake which was a big No-No in the DJ world. Never take the light from the head liner.” A.J. chuckled faintly as he swift folding his hands behind his back overlapping each one and rested his butt on them instead of the brick wall as he stared out to the almost empty back parking lot, which was only holding a hand full of cars.
“But it turned out well for me this time; I might actually get another gag from my blunder.” A.J. added with a worry free sigh and a faint smile taking up his face. If he was going to die tonight by this Not Human, and so far harmless being, at least he knew when he was going to hell. He might have been able to make a name for himself. That was at least something not a hand full of people could die knowing and A.J. found comfort in that. “I didn’t notice you out in the crowd, usually I don’t when I get in the groovy, but I think you might have been able to gain my attention for a few seconds at least.”

Jophiel smiled, watched AJ's hair tumble down damp against his temple and didn't let himself reach out and push it back the way his part would have demanded. (The way he wanted to, the way his fingertips almost itched to try.) Just let there be a little extra warmth in his eyes as he said, "You're good enough, they're smart to give you a chance. And I was back at the bar for most of the set, didn't move forward till the end."
And there was that flirtation again, and the urge to respond. But how could he, not when he knew it was honestly meant. He'd watched just his touch practically make the kid pass out, and more contact would probably only intensify that. Angels can look like men, but they are not men, and each angel's mind is a tiny infinity. He would break this pretty psychic boy with even a kiss. And why had he thought 'kiss'? That was a weird thing to think. Dangerous and weird.
Jophiel took a hard drag of his smoke and leaned more heavily against the wall to keep himself still. "Probably just as well I didn't catch your attention. You needed all your focus doing what you were doing, looked like."

A.J. fought the obvious boy crushing over the “spectacular” new popular kid in school smile, but he couldn’t fight the blushing that came after Jophiel’s praise. A.J. then lost the fight against the small that grew across his face, spreading from ear to ear, but he still tried to hide it by looking down studying his shoes.
“You really think that?” A.J., still in a bit of disbelief over the matter, and just thought the other man was trying to get in his pants, even if he wasn’t human. A.J. might just let him, if he kept talking like he was.
“ I have people telling me things like that especially my sister, and family, but it’s different hearing it from a complete stranger, it’s different more raw if I have to describe it. There isn’t really any sugar coating, or soft punches, but the brutal truth, and I like that.” Adam admitted openly finding himself opening up to Jophiel. Adam looked over to Jophiel and fixed him with a smile before drawing his hand out and at first hesitated but touched Jophiel lightly at first his mind exploded with a million thoughts, languages, images, but A.J. fought to hold on, then it started to slow and A.J. spared a look at Jophiel and gasped as Heaven unrolled in his mind. A.J. let him go and stepped a few steps back with his mouth stuck in a stun O expression.
“NO FUCKING WAY!” A.J. laughed out loud, “you can’t be…. No there aren’t such things, but the things you’ve seen, know.”
Occ- sorry couldn’t think of anything else.

"Don't," he said quietly, hearing some kind of pain in his own voice and hating himself a little for it. "Don't do that again. You'll hurt yourself." A small, crooked smile. "I told you I wasn't a person."
And because it was easier, much easier than dealing with the way he was still watching AJ, Jophiel gave him a distracting truth instead. "Yes, there are such things. And our opposite numbers. Opposing forces in a bloody endless war that's been going on since before the Fall of Man. But every so often we get a night off and can come out to a club, hear a DJ spin some good shit, dance and drink and remember that the whole reason we're fighting a war is so that you lot can make music and grind into one another on a dance floor and live a life that's got a muddle of good and bad instead of having to be pulled to the elemental extremes." Shit, was he drunk? Jophiel never philosophized, not when he didn't have to.

A.J. was still stunned and it was written all over his face, even though his mind was still trying to process the fact that Heaven, Angels and Even God was real. He still had an open ear to what Jophiel was saying. A.J.’s hands were on top of his head lance together just shaking his head with a big goofy smile written on his face. He wanted to feel guilty about ruining Jophiel’s night, like the ma… Angel said it was his night off, probably the first in eons, but A.J.’s state that he was in right now, the high, was too great to show on the outside, but damn he could still tell him, “You’re absolutely right Jophiel, it’s your night off, sorry, but you got to understand. I’ve fought against a hell of a lot of baddies and dark days in my life, and to find out there is light at the end of the tunnel.” A.J. shook his head one final time before dropping his hands to the side and eyeing Jophiel with delight.
“And since I ruined you night off by talking about work.” A.J. smile grew as he stepped closer to the angel but minding not touching him.
“I’m going to make it up to you, I hope you can dance, because were about to get down on the dance floor.” A.J. smile turned wicked but flirtation at the same time, and he was in a very damn good mood, and wanted to see just how far Jophiel would go with him tonight. A.J. did hope he didn’t overthink the two earlier conversions before A.J.’s discover about Jophiel. He didn’t want to mistake that the angel wasn’t feeling him or in fact man in general. That brought a thought all together do Angels’ have sex, you know male and female parts. A.J. made a swift look down below and saw that Jophiel was packing under the jeans from what he could tell, but were they male or females, but that soon didn’t matter to A.J. he wanted to have fun and make it up to Jophiel all at the same time and he wasn’t taking no for an answer.
Occ- sorry if it’s short.
