It was easy enough for him to get himself set up in the penthouse at the MGM Grand, close enough to his true vessel and the pitiful brother of Sam’s that he could keep watch over the both of them if he wished. So far though he hadn’t wanted to take the chance that the angels who surrounded the pair, Castiel in particular (even though he seemed to be small potatoes he also was the one who seemed most likely to do something idiotic to protect Sam). So he listened to the angelic voices on the wind and heard one bit of news in particular, Sariel. Sam Winchester had a guardian angel? Well this was new and advantageous. Of course he could not know all his brothers and sisters how could he? Father had been very fruitful with the angelic hosts and being one of the first he sometimes felt as if he lost track of them all, sticking closest to Michael and Gabriel. The further down the angelic food chain you went the less likely it was that he’d know of you or even bother to hear your name in the revelation spoken to each angelic host. Of course these days Lucifer had been paying closer attention to revelation, he craved support from other than the twisted and empty shells of demons he’d created (they were such fragile creatures anyway) and if this younger sister of his could be shown that he wasn’t the monster in this, that he in fact had been wronged by Father and was still doing his well nevertheless, perhaps in Sam Winchester’s protector he would find an ally. He placed the image of his old vessel, Nick, over his new one again, teleporting himself to the top of Caesar’s Palace and reached out in his mind, finding Sariel among the multitude of minds that were in the desert city. His words, telepathy only for her, and he hoped she would accept his invitation. ”Sister, I wish to make your acquaintance, speak with you face to face. I’ve no use for violence but if you wish I shall give you my word that you will leave from this meeting with no harm to yourself, just a simple conversation is all I crave. I am on the roof of Caesar’s Palace in this city of sin you have found yourself in. Please, come alone.” [/div] Lots of words | Sariel | Sam’s guardian angel=mine?

She had been standing on a ridge, looking out into the place humans called 'Death Valley' with a certain quiet disinterest. Sariel had nothing to do at the moment, nothing to pull her attention as Sam was being looked after more then enough family members and if she popped up beside Castiel again any time soon then she'd be risking a very unwanted visit from one of Raphel's followers. The blond could take them, but she didn't want to fight and she didn't want to draw any more attention to herself or any more potential harm to the poor boy she was watching after, most of the Host wanted his head on a pike after all. So instead Sari stood inhumanly still in the Nevada desert looking very much like a lovely mirage, nothing around her for miles aside from sand and rocks. She had nothing to do but wait, wait to be called, or wit for someone to stray from their given path. It could have been hours that she had been standing there staring into the desert when she felt that tug, when she heard that voice in the corner of her mind and stiffened. Oh she knew that voice, and she didn't like the fact that HE of all people wanted to talk to her, but what really got her was the fact that Lucifer was in Vegas, much too close to Sam for her liking. Sariel would rather that he was somewhere on the other side of the earth, but even then that would be too close for her liking. She couldn't refuse talking to him though, because deep down she did want to, he was her brother after all. Sari missed the days before that war, before she had been given the task of picking the punishment for the fallen. In the span of a millisecond she was before her sibling, smoothing out her skirt and looking up at him with a calm, quiet stillness about her, "You wished to speak to me brother?" Sari could only hope she kept the mild trepidation out of her voice. He slowly turned his head, regarding Sariel a moment, a soft smile caressing Nick’s features as he took a few steps towards her then around her to look out across the city a moment, gathering his thoughts, bringing his hands up to touch fingers to fingers near his mouth a moment. Then he turned back to her and took a breath.
He carefully chose his words, it was like he almost knew the reaction they would get, a master at the social banter and wanting to see exactly what was Sari’s intent in her duties now. In his mind there was the right way and the wrong way, they had already been decided, all she had to do was show him what side she fell on.
“I’m curious sister; do you wish to be rewarded for keeping watch over my vessel? What I mean to say is that I understand you have done this service from me, keeping my true vessel safe from harm, and I really do appreciate it so tell me sister how do you wish to be repaid for this great service?”
Yes, this approach would do to begin with. [/i] [/div]
