Fears: Being trapped and tortured again and again as many of Crowley's menagerie were, being forced to kill someone she would normally leave alone.
Secrets: Eddie will do many things for money that she doesn't agree with or enjoy because she has grown up mistaking her bank balance for her self-worth. In relationships where she isn’t getting paid she favors women but often finds she has to take on male forms to get their attention which makes her feel like she's being dishonest.
Habits/Quirks: Eddie has been trying to quit smoking for a good five years without success. She likes to invent nicknames for people because it's easier than remembering their real names.
Overall Personality: Like other skinwalkers, shifters aren’t necessarily born evil, but circumstance will often conspire to make them so. Eddie may not be a serial rapist, a bank robber or a homicidal B-Movie enthusiast, but she is by no means well-adjusted either. Like the vast majority of shapeshifters, Eddie was traumatized by the realization that she was not really the same species as her mother. Her personality is also warped by the ‘downloaded’ memories of those she imitates.
Eddie was a friendly but strong-minded child who was generally well liked but happier in her own company than with friends. Constant family conflict gradually gnawed away at her self-assurance and to compensate she developed an aggressive side to her outward persona that earned her labels like ‘anti-social’ and ‘troublemaker’. These days she struggles with relationships that require genuine intimacy.
Like a Trickster, Eddie revels in the advantages her powers offer and puts a great deal of effort into ignoring the downsides. She habitually plays up to the expectations of others, both positive and negative. As a result Eddie is at best a gregarious extrovert and at worst a malicious crook. In a good mood, she takes as little seriously as possible; in a bad mood her more aggressive side loves to push people’s personal boundaries, as a way of both gauging a person and asserting herself. Hypocritically, she dislikes her own boundaries being infringed and hates the thought of being an open book to mind readers. She is naturally independent, has a distinct lack of respect for authority or law and often speaks without much forethought; loudly and colorfully. The only time Eddie is likely to hold her tongue is in the presence of anything she believes capable of killing her - she will go to great lengths to avoid physical confrontation with such hunters/creatures.
When absorbing the personalities of those she imitates, the invasion of foreign thoughts, instincts and traits can be confusing. Spending too long in any one guise can result in the kind of problems usually associated with schizophrenia, dissociative identity disorder or bi-polarism.
While she is disgusted by supernatural creatures who consciously prey on those she considers 'innocents', she is equally disdainful of human Hunters whom she usually classifies as ignorant bigots, destructive thrill seekers or vengeful sadists.

There Is A Monster At The End Of The Book
You're as cold as ice, you're willing to sacrifice our love. You know that you are.
Mothers Name: Omatayo Ogunlana
Fathers Name: Unknown. Step-father: James Craig
Siblings: None known - she likely has half-siblings on her father's side though
Overall History: Eddie's mother 'Tayo' Ogunlana arrived in London in 1968, age 6, when her parents emigrated from Nigeria in search of better work prospects. At 18 Tayo fell pregnant and gave birth to a daughter, Edra (or Eddie as she became known). It was the result of an unplanned pregnancy with an anonymous suitor whom Tayo rarely spoke of to anyone. From what Eddie was able to gather, it was a shapeshifter who had been moving around England as part of a group of Irish travellers. Tayo's parents were less than understanding and she became an outcast from her own family, moving into her own flat in North London's Finsbury Park. Her daughter never had the opportunity to meet her real father or any grandparents.
Tayo soon realized her daughter was not normal and taught her to cover up her skin shedding and keep up a default form that looked realistic for her age and heritage. A few years after Edra started school full-time, Tayo married her new boyfriend, a local construction worker called James. Watching the man bully her mother, young Eddie found herself incapable of showing the man any tolerance, and used her shapeshifting to cause him as much trouble as possible. James became increasingly suspicious, and then outright abusive towards Eddie. What little respect Eddie had for her mother was quickly eroded when Tayo refused to leave her abusive partner. Barely a day passed when she didn’t end up in a fight with one or both parents, and even took a certain vengeful delight in causing arguments between the two.
Eddie’s paranormal nature became apparent to her step-father just after her fourteenth birthday. Struggling in a heated conflict, her skin came away in the man's hands. Her teeth started to fall out and her body twisted painfully, as if her fear and anger had become physical forces warping her body. Left in a horrific new form, Eddie lashed out, seriously injuring her stepfather. Drawn by the noise, her mother Tayo came in to find a monster crouched over her husband. Deeply shocked, Tayo drove her daughter away using the silver crucifix around her neck.
Eddie ended up sleeping in disused sections of the London Underground or in empty buildings where the other squatters didn’t look too closely at her. Rather than growing through puberty her body shapeshifted through it on a weekly basis. Initially she eked out a miserable existence through theft or scavenging but eventually added begging and prostitution to her CV. Her life changed when a young thief called Bela Talbot tracked her down through supernatural means. Bela had decided there was a more lucrative use for the shapeshifter as part of a team for a con job on the other side of the Atlantic. Eddie was happy to sign up for the scam Bela had planned and followed her to New York.
After finishing her work with Bela, Eddie decided to stay on in the States and ended up in Las Vegas, a city that had always appealed to her. There she became involved with an establishment known as “The American Scream”, a sort of employment agency that hired monsters out to clients all over the world with various paranormal requirements. Eddie made a living in the role of thief, escort and even hunter in cases where the clients wanted something more than a human. Although preferring flight over fight, Eddie used her spare time to study a mixture of Wing Chun, Taekwondo and Muay Thai at a trio of Vegas dojos.
The good life couldn't last forever though. Last year, a hunting party sent by the Demon Crowley descended on “The American Scream” in a devastating dawn raid. The building was torched, the residents scattered or slain. Eddie was one of the few survivors unlucky enough to be retained for 'questioning'. After days of brutal torture, Crowley decided that rather than waste a well-trained henchwoman (and rare example of a 'female' shifter) he'd put her on his payroll. Eddie accepted because it was better than the alternative. When Crowley lost control of his menagerie to Castiel, the shifter unlocked as many cells as she could find keys for, then ran away. It was every monster for themselves.
Eddie has remained transient ever since, taking on whatever jobs she can turn her changeling hands too. For the right price she'll wear any form to act as thief, whore, mercenary, guard, smuggler, alibi or fixer. She also hunts down supernatural artifacts or creatures with tradable assets - blood, venom, ivory or pelts - all occult black market collectables. Getting the information she needs to find other monsters often entails moving in the same circles as the very hunters who live to kill her kind, but being a shapeshifter makes this a relatively easy chore. She actually has more than enough experience to pass as a seasoned hunter and knows how to fight most supernatural adversaries; but unlike the hunters Eddie always tries not to kill anybody. She believes a live and let live policy is far better for repeat business - why execute when you can negotiate? She would, however, be sure to make an exception for Crowley.

Dream A Little Dream Of Me, Bloody Mary

Roleplay Sample:
“C’mon then Tomcat!”
Eddie shifted her weight and tried not to let the 300lb Texan sat in the corner of the penthouse suite see her eyes rolling with contempt. He was parked on a chair that clearly wasn’t made for such a sitter and she stared again between his wide spread legs at the way the seat's material bulged dangerously underneath him. There was nothing dangerous about the bulge in his pants. The fail whale has landed… she thought, not sure whether to be relieved or let down as she willed his sweaty arse to burst all the way through the chair and lodge as painfully as possible in the frame. Too bad she wasn’t telekinetic.
He dangled a sugar mouse at her, holding it delicately by the tail, pinkie finger raised. He had a whole damn bag on the dresser table next to him. He wiggled the little sweet again and the flesh on his arm rippled. The fat itself didn’t bother her in the slightest; it was what it stood for. As far as she knew, he was the son of some oil billionaire, had never worked a day in his life and spent his family's money on gourmet junk food, vintage booze and high-priced ‘speciality’ escorts. Not one ounce of his bulk had been earned and that made it obscene in her eyes.
“Come ta Poppa Bear!” With his free hand he patted a chunky thigh.
Pet play with a daddy kink… The perfect recipe to get Eddie’s gag reflex going. She lowered herself to the floor, crawling on all fours across an impossibly clean carpet. Black claws dug into beige short-pile as she closed the distance like a good little predator. The Texan had asked for a man who looked like a cat, so for a considerable fee she'd become his full-blown anthromorphic boytoy for the night.
The Texan lent forward, teasing her with the mouse. Eddie let out a genuine growl of annoyance. Kneeling between his feet, she launched herself up with all the speed of an angry snake, snapping it up. She let him feel the contrast of sharp teeth and soft warm tongue on the end of his finger and smiled with spiteful satisfaction at the way he jumped.
He grinned once the shock had passed and he was sure he still had all ten digits. “You like that, huh?” He was reaching eagerly for the paper bag before she’d even answered.
Eddie tried not to make a face as she swallowed the sugared marzipan. “Yes Daddy.” She managed.
“Mmm, Daddy likes this!” he said, turning back to give her leather choker a small tug as he offered a second mouse.
Least I won’t have to worry about missing dinner tonight, she thought wearily, taking the second treat. He petted her thick, coarse hair, letting a thumb explore the feel of the face she was hiding behind. Eddie closed her eyes and leaned into the touch, a purposely-feline gesture. She heard the Texan’s weight shift in the creaky chair as he unzipped his flies and gave a little sigh of relief when she decided she'd probably be done and back just in time for the Star Trek marathon on CBS. She was supposed to be lining up a buyer for the antique werefur pelt rolled out on the bed of her own cheap motel room, but if it came to five hours on the phone trying to juggle half a dozen languages versus five hours of the final frontier while chugging half a dozen bottles of beer, well, Star Trek won out every time.

This application was made by JUL!ET. She worked really hard on
this and watched seasons one through three of Supernatural in 3 days.
She's so hardcore. And you wouldn't want to make
Dean Winchester Romeo mad by stealing it now would you?
He'd have to come after you with a stick. It wouldn't be pretty,
now go play nice and don't steal her stuff.

NB: If using Bela and Crowley is not OK please let me know, but I did try to stick to plausible canon.
