Overall Personality[/color]: Ben is very much like Dean when it comes to his personality. He likes rock music, ogling cute girls, and even talks like him. However, he is still just a child so he could still end up with some of his mother’s traits as well. He is a determined boy, not giving up easily, and will do anything to assure the safety of his family. He considers Dean as his father, not knowing just how right he is, and looks up to him as a role model. What is surprising however, just how much like Dean he really is. When the two of them first met, he was of course a spitting imagine of the Hunter, and it was so eerie. He did not really know how to stand up for himself, for when a group of boys had ’borrowed’ one of his video games they had refused to give it back. He instead sat sulking on a park bench at a loss of what to do, until Dean came along and told him. Since then, he had taken more of an aggressive role in opinion, but not quite going as far as he had that first time.

Ben is a bit on the independent side, but he knows when to bend to someone else’s control. He could stand and argue with you for hours, until he is blue in the face. However if he believes he is in over his head, he would let someone else take care of the situation. This only happens once, as he would know how to take care of it again if it should arise. There of course is only two people in the whole world he would trust if his life were in danger, and depending upon the situation he would call them. If the supernatural were involved he wouldn’t hesitate to call Dean for help, or if his mother was missing. All other situations would warrant a call to his mother.

Overall History[/color]: Benjamin Isaac Braeden was born to Lisa Braeden 12 years ago. His father was not known to him, nor was he in the picture. For eight years it would just be him and his mother, and he had a normal childhood up until that point. He developed normally like any child his age should, and he had developed a love for rock music and ogling girls by the time he turned eight. Then on his eight birthday party in Cicero, Indiana he learned a very valuable lesson about life and the world as he knew it. First off it started with two men coming to his party, and the cool one approached him trying to initiate a conversation. Needless to say, it was a short one. He also failed to notice just how much he was like the man. They were dress nearly the same, liked the same things, and he even talked the same. Later that day, a bully took his video game as he was playing with it in the park. Not knowing what to do, he sat there sulking until the guy from his party came over and talked to him. He offered to get it back, but he said “Only bitches send a grown up over and I’m not a bitch.” So instead, the man taught him a thing or two about standing up to bullies. Which his mother did not approve of, but he thanked the man by hugging him before his mother dragged him back home.

Soon after this incident, Ben was asleep in his bed one night but when he woke up he found himself locked inside a cage with other kids from the neighborhood as well as the lady realtor. He had no idea what was going on, but he did try his best to keep the other kids calm. He soon found out why he and the others were kept alive as a woman looking exactly like the caged up realtor came and fed off of them. It wasn’t until later, at night, that Dean and Sam showed up. They released those in the cages, and he helped the other kids try to escape the window while the brothers fought the eerie realtor and burned her. He was reunited with his mother the following morning, and he didn’t see or hear from Dean for almost another two years.

Shortly before his tenth birthday, Dean showed back up on his and his mom’s doorstep wanting to move in and make a life with them as well as have a family. He was happy and excited for this as he really liked Dean, and began to think of the older man as a father. He would help him around the house, eagerly learning anything he would be willing to teach him. But their happy life was turned upside down by another supernatural creature that was gunning for the man he thought of as a father. Because that he thought his family would be in danger, Dean had him and his mother pack and then took them to Bobby’s before taking off with Sam to take care of the creature. When he returned, he insisted that the three of them move. Of which they made the trek from Indiana to Michigan.

It seemed that Ben’s life had returned to normal or so he thought. Dean had gone from cool to overprotective in what seem like overnight. He wasn’t allowed out of his sight, or to go out and have any fun. But he continues to help his mom and Dean unpack, before opening the trunk of Dean’s car and finding a shotgun. Dean walks in reprimanding him about it, and then asked the older man to teach him how to shoot a shotgun. Ben was yelled at, which upset the boy who ran inside. Shortly after this, Dean left when Sam called, and he didn’t see him again. Sure, he called and he talked to Dean but he hadn’t come home.

Now, his mother is missing and there was only one person he trusted despite they left things. He needed to get a hold of Dean, and maybe he’ll help find her…
